Winrate before kogmaw buffs (patch 6.2) - 50.52% Winrate AFTER kogmaw changes (patch 6.5) - 44.22%

Yeah good job riot! Dont revert your buffs! Refuse to accept your mistakes! Nerf him some more instead! I completely disagree with your ideology behind not reverting changes despite the explanation. KogMaw Source : http://champion.gg/champion/KogMaw/ADC

Why don't you show us the winrate DURING the buffs, smart one? Also, did you know that before the bugfix, Kog had a bug that heavily reduced his damage?

Um, I didn't use the winrate during his buffs because it is not relevant anymore. The whole point is instead of reverting the buffs they continued to nerf him and the net result was bad. And no, I did not know about the heavily reduced damage.

If the winrate during the buffs aren't relevant, then how are the winrates before the buffs relevant?

I'm trying to compare current state kog'maw to kog'maw before they started messing with him. What I'm trying to say is when Kog'maw became op instead of nerfing him some other way they should have just reverted the buffs because the net result was bad. Is that clearer?

You ARE aware before the buffs he was considered much worse and before 6.2 his winrate was actually worse at one point? He was considered a terrible ADC at the time. Now they are having issues balancing him, because he's bordering on feast or famine- he was doing that before preseason.

His winrate was worse at one point because people were still learning him, building crit on him, etc. 6.2 Was when people actually grasped him. You could see his winrate was steadily going up. 6.3 they pushed him over the edge. and 6.4+they are just messing around with him. If you are trying to say kog at 6.2 is in a worse state than kog at 6.5 then please explain why.

As with all new champions. If you are trying to prove a point that people were still learning him after the changes, couldn't I just spin that argument around on you and say "people are still learning Kog after the nerfs". Be careful what you try to argue.

Yes but the difference is the significance in the change. Kog'maw had a completely new type of ability (never seen before) added to him which was arguably different from his previous W. This caused his build to change as well, which many people may not have been aware off. While the following kog'maw changes merely caused a change in his skill order maxing and number tweaks here and there. His primary kit remained the same. So the same argument cannot be used for that point :]

He didn't get a new ability, it was simply an attack speed steroid that now just doubles everything. It really isn't a new type, and his build didn't change, it just became more apparent. Guinsoo's was always a good item on Kog.

Kog only has 2 days w/out the bug that lowered his damage....so you can't take the 44% to be true.

That statistic is worthless for this patch. champion.gg took their entire sample during the period where kog'maw was bugged and dealing significantly less damage than he was supposed to.

Kog'maw actually is looking stronger this patch than the previous one if you look at lolking's statistics since he went back up. Even if you run a mathematical model of his dps output at various stages in the game, it seems he should deal more dps.

I see. That is a valid argument. Perhaps I was mistaken, I felt he was weak because I was playing him when he was bugged.
