Is that it for Evelynn?

Is Riot satisfied with the current position of Evelynn right now?

Is the +10 damage on Q the last thing that is being done to her with regards to her W change? It was stated that the W change was intended to be a buff.

"As far as the 5.6 changes go those have been less powerful than expected. Current thinking is that we'll put the stacking movement speed back on."

But when that was put on and reverted immediately, the next post I can find is

"We'll be testing out a couple of different possible buffs. We agree Eve needs a bit of help, but are still figuring out what exact changes that should entail."

Which led to the +10 damage on Q. So.... is that it?

I mean I don't think that +10 damage on Q (which is still weaker than it was prenerf) is even remotely worth what was lost. Please tell me that there is more in store, I mean at this point I would take -20 damage on Q in its current state if the W change were to be reverted. She doesn't need that tiny amount of damage back, which is just a partial revert of a previous nerf anyway, to fix her. She needs her identity back. Then you can buff her from there if you like.

Save for extreme buffs to other things in her kit, until her W is restored to how it was, she will remain extremely unfun.

EDIT: Another thing, her damage is actually really heavily hit by the lack of passive movement speed, not just because they escape easier, but because you are no longer able to land autoattacks while chasing, since doing so will put you significantly behind them. So pretty much the benefit of her E's attack speed while chasing is completely gone (especially since casting it will put you even further behind)

She IS fairly strong to be honest. Her invisiblity is just an insane snowball mechanic. You can be everywhere, nobody will know. I've seen dedicated Eve players and players who play her once or when she was considered OP and the difference is huge. She works well, snowballs hard and is a pain to deal with.

She even has burst if you want that. Go full AP, get a Luden's and one shot people like it's URF.

She isn't strong. She isn't at or above the 50% mark at all (not winrate, but to be "strong" she would have to be in the upper 50% of champions really)

I'm aware she has damage. She doesn't need more damage. Well if she isn't ever going to get any real compensation for her W change, then yeah she actually will need a LOT more damage in order for her to be balanced. But I mean, she should just have her W the way it was before, it really gutted her.

And all this is coming from an Eve main with 3000+ games on her, reaching Diamond 1 seasons 3 and 4 with her. But now she is just too nerfed to rely on.

Also, Luden's is garbage on Eve. Her W needs her to survive more than a few seconds in order to reset (or get a kill, at which point it resets anyway and the cooldown reduction mechanic is irrelevant) and if that is horrible, why wouldn't a proc that isn't even that strong, which needs to be charged up the same as her gutted W, not be?

The movementspeed of Ludens is nice. 7% ms is like 27 flat ms. But Rabadons does more damage than Ludens. What Eve needs is flat AP and additional AP scalings (Lich bane, Nashors) on top of it, and CDR. item 3158 are way better than item 3020 for Evelynn. CDR does more for Q-DPS, does let the W reset extremly fast, and of course E and R has lower CDs too. Sorcerers are really really bad in comparison.

Idk what you are building that you don't get 40% cdr on Eve that you would need Lucidity boots lol. But either way, with all the magic damage items that you build, a huge amount of your AP% is output as magic damage and needs to scale with Magic Pen. I wouldn't ever build Lucidity boots, even if I wasn't at 40% CDR all the time (Magus+Nashor = 40%) For AP build its 90% Sorc Shoes IMO. Mobi Boots are good if you can't afford Sorcs and you have the gold to upgrade them and can make use of the passive, and Merc Treads are a rare case where you are threatening enough with your composition to warrant being focused or CC'd while not needing the extra damage to get kills.

But yeah I'd never make Lucidity Boots.

Yes you can get 40% CDR with Nashors Tooth. I have done that a long time even back in Season 4. But i figured out that Magus+Lucidity boots+Rabadons is much stronger than Magus+Nashors+Sorcerer shoes. It is worth it to get 40% CDR as early as possible as cheap as possible. Lucidity boots are ideal, because early movement speed is nice too. Nashors Tooth is a good late game item for Eve (it is still better in the mid game than many AD items), but Eve's AP scalings are so good, that it is better to go for flat AP first.

I go for CDR and flat AP first. After that i buy some defence and more AP (Zhonyas). Now you say i need some Magic pen. But E does physical damage and I have tons of AP, what scales with Lich bane for example. Imo it is better to go now for AP scaling items like Lich bane and Nashors Tooth (Sell Magus for it in the late game). It increases the burst and the DPS not only the Q-DPS. Now E does magic damage too, and magic pen is a good option, but i also need some mr, so abysall is better than void. Squshys are my target anyway.

For AP build its 90% Sorc Shoes IMO. Mobi Boots are good if you can't afford Sorcs

I have to snowball in the mid game. Lucidity boots does add more damage to Q than Sorcerers, if you don't have 40% CDR what is probably the case in the mid game. With Lucidity boots W is much more often usable, while Mobi boots doesn't even give +45 ms. No option for me especially after W change. But i never bougth Mobis after their nerf anyway. And Lucidity boots decrease the CD of R what is important too for snowballing. Lower E CD is useful too.

Merc Treads are a rare case where you are threatening enough with your composition to warrant being focused or CC'd while not needing the extra damage to get kills.

Yes, but i think Lucidity + QSS is better. CDR is the most important stat for Eve imo. I rather play AD Eve with 40% CDR than AP Eve without CDR.

Luden was good when she cold cast spells on a fleeing target. Now? Nope

She could do that in URF because her ult and W were on low enough cooldowns that she didn't have to plan as much. Missusing either outside of URF is very punishing and will get her killed.

And she generally only one shot people if she got fed enough. Which as URF went on people got used to dealing with. To the point where she almost never got banned.
