Dark Harvest scales horribly, and is only strong because of the resets

The resets though are what make it strong on AoE mages, who didn't really have a keystone previously.

So, what if the resets started out weak but the harvested souls improved them?

For example:

  • at 0 souls, Dark Harvest procs after the first one (gained through a reset) could do 0 damage (but still harvest the soul)
  • at 10 souls, they could do a % of the first proc's damage
  • etc

This should nerf it early/midgame specifically for those champions who can easily reset it, while keeping its core idea of scaling with usage.

Dark Havest is extremely overrated. I've been comparing Dark Harvest and Elecrotcute on Kayn and I just think I'll be taking Electrocute from now on. It just seems stronger at most points of the game.

Honestly, DH sucks. I just played a Nocturne DH game. Had Duskblade+Youmuus+Black Cleaver+Ionian boots(Transcendence) Around 400AD, couldn't kill an Ahri that had a item 3191 and 181hp.

Granted Nocturne is absolute trash, but still.

I think it should be toned down a bit mid game is all. It feels fine to use and play against, but looks a bit too strong on some mages

The real issue with DH isnt the reset... its how strong its on range/poke (mainly mages but Jhin too).
