Riot hit the nail on its head

For the ones who don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm not referring to soloQ returning, even though I have over 95% of my games solo (just mentioning it, so I don't get the usual "you only say this because you like being boosted" response) it's something that never really bothered me. Apparently other people did, so good for them.

For me the most important thing is that Riot also realizes that SQ and DQ test entirely different skills. Like they mentioned, SQ is all about your individual mechanics and your ability to solo carry, while DQ, even as a solo player, is much more about coordination, teamwork and strategies (not saying that SQ doesn't test teamwork at all, or vice versa, but there are notable differences).

That was also for me the biggest issue with dynamic queue. I haven't encountered many toxic 4-man premades, I haven't seen an overload of "dynamic boosts", but I did notice that within a game players could have widely different skillsets: our top might be a mechanical god who doesn't even know how to spell the word "team", while our mid plays like he is more drunk than Gragas, while being smarter than Heimerdinger and more helpful than Taric. Those are entirely different players, but they will eventually and up in the same DQ rank.

That's why I really like that we're going to get those separate queues. Do you want to focus on teamwork and cooperation, then you can go to Flex Queue. Do you want to unleash your inner Faker and carry 1v5? Solo Queue is here for you.

Thank you Riot, for trying to find a way to satisfy all of your players, no matter how hard it is.

PS: I really hope that this will not turn into the usual "if your FQ rank is higher than your SQ rank then you are boosted" bullshit (though I'm afraid it will)
