Being reported for spamming taunts.

I get notifications that I've been reported every now and then, and they all come after games that I use my Mastery Emote and Laugh a lot. People shouldn't be able to be reported for this kinda stuff.. right? I mean it's in the game for a reason...

I don't know, Lyte confirmed someone got perma-banned for ping spamming and not chatting. If you get reported enough, they'll probably ban you.

in my opinion ping spamming is not the same as taunt spamming

yeah ping spamming is a whole new level of annoying. I've met all kinds of trolls and ragers, but back in like season 2 I met a few ping spammers and dear god they would make me wanna kick my computer. Couldn't even see the mini map people would ping so much.

So dancing on the corpse of a fallen enemy, laughing, and then popping my mastery emote is frowned upon? I never knew......lol.

If you're doing it to purposely piss people off then those reports are well deserved. I had to turn off the champ sounds because the asshats who kept spamming taunts CONSTANTLY in ARAM were driving me to the brink of insanity. Someone should lock you in a room and force you to listen to Caramelldansen at full volume for 24 hours straight. You'd understand then.

lmao, but is it reportable? Doesn't muting mute their taunts and what not?

SukishooNov 19, 20151 votes

No, it doesn't. People say it mutes the sounds but it doesn't for most of us, and plus there is no way to "mute" the mastery emotes, so yeah you kind of deserve it.

My friend, they're weak. Lol.

If some enemy does that to me, know what I do? Guess. No really, guess.

I mute. I usually turn off voices anyways.

Fun game, easy game, fun life, easy life.

I can see people reporting due to what they percieve as bad sportmanship, similarly to people who report for "ez" or "easy". I personally just mute them after the 4th laugh/taunt in a short duration, even if its an ally spamming.
