turn off HUD.. EXCEPT map?

I think there's a hide minimap option. and theres a hide HUD option.

but I dont see any combination of settings that can hide everything EXCEPT minimap? This would be really useful for me. I hate that annoying toolbar at the bottom. takes up valuable screen. I have it at minimum size and its STILL too big

there's no hide minimap/hud option.

There is a button for it, i'ts one of the F Buttons on top of your keyboard. I think the binding isn't even in the settings, but there definitely is an option for it.

I think that must be a "hide hud" option. when I explicitly bound that function control-H.... F keys do nothing for me other than usual show players.

sigh. wold really like minimap only

well you still can't time your CDs on 0,1sec exactly.

also, item, ward and summoner spell CDs, buffs, debuffs and other spell effects, checking exactly if you have enough mana/energy for a combo, gold, exp.

pull up shop it shows gold for mana, you ahve a mana bar on your champ as well as health

ye but when you have an combo that costs 145 energy for example you need to know when exactly to go in.

also, i'm pretty sure you won't be able to exactly track the moment your 3 abilities come off CD, especially when there are things like CDR in the game ;)

Some of us are better at timing than others. you are not one of them. thats okay. just accept both things and move on :-)

no regular human can time things exactly on the moment without some time measurement. else you should also have no problem timing your Ult if you have some kind of perfect inner clock.

well ofc I know how long my basic abilities are on CD more or less, but sometimes you have the situation where you have got your enemy into the position you want and are waiting for the exact moment when your ability snaps off CD and go all out, without clicking too early to mess up your combo, but not too late so your enemy might have moved again.

There is not even 1 pro who can do that and plays with HUD off.

Sorry, but I don't believe you.

easier than it sounds. first off pros dont paly with hud off, because you HAVE to show map or you're dead.

secondly, even if you have crap internal timing... all you REALLY need to know is which cooldown in your combo is going to take the longest time to come backup .. if that's the first move in your combo.

then you just spam it until it comes up.

otherwise, all you have to do is just be able to count seconds accurately, for the longest one. in that sort of situation it usually doesnt matter if you are .2 seconds off.

anyways yes humans can get that accurate.

When I cared about such things, I kept an internal clock going, and I always knew what time it was, within 1 or 2 minutes, 24 hours a day. without looking at a clock first. kinda wierd.. i started out being within about 10 minutes. then after some months, got it within 5.. then eventually down to 1 or 2 minutes. Human internal clocks are better than most people realize.but they especially dont realize it, when they dont bother to LISTEN to it, and instead always check their watch or phone.
