Little known fact about ARAM

Winning this game is actually about SIEGING not killing.

Killing your opponents is of course part of that because it is easier to push a lane and take out towers, the inhibitor, and the Nexus when you outnumber the other team.

However, when you ignore the minion wave, and you ignore the towers in order to try and kill enemies, you are not necessarily helping the team.

This is true - but tell that to the people who choose to use their rerolls or swaps to get rid of the tanks they were given. Or to the bunch of players who choose to just hammer away at minions when there are some champions on your side who scale or heal from those minions. Or the others who choose to chase after the other champions while a minion wave is crashing on your turret. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Lol that is who the post is intended for.

This was inspired by my last game where a J4 thought they were making plays by diving for a 5 man ult every chance they got when we were pushed out and everyone on our team was either low mana, had abilities on CD, or was too far away to effectively follow up.

We of course tried to follow up to make the best of it, but after he died we had no front line because he was dead, we were surrounded by minions, and they were fed.

In retrospect, we should have just let him die, but hindsight is 20/20
