I wonder if the ADC+Support will go to top now?

I mean, with Rift Herald and all. Not that dragon isn't important but if you want to push early game then the Rift Herald buff is the way to go. If not it will still make lane swaps more viable because you can get the Rift Herald if you're at topside.

If the buff is better yeah I see your point. If the jungler helped the could get by level two or even level 1. The "Top Laner" would still be isolated with only dragon to get and I don't really see point to getting it if it has weaker buff if the only way I see early game is the Bot laner kills the other bot laner and the enemy jungler then I would get it with help from jungle or mid.

Keep in mind that Dragon buff needs to stack, but Rift Herald gives you immediate power. But that's no reason not to stack dragon. (especially a team who needs to snowball teamfights.)

It's also risky to start a team fight over Rift Herald. Assuming it's a non transferable buff. It's only going to fall onto one champion, and your team will lose that buff if that champ dies. The only real team value is the 50 gold each. But a total of 250 isn't even worth a kill.

I won't judge the Buffs power until I see it in action. But it's a lot to contest for very little.

I do see your point and agree but would you rather have power early or a stacking power that gets better over time that a jungle and "top" laner could get when they have a chance also if the rift Harold can stack up to 5 times maby then why not get Harold early and dragon later or when they have a chance

I'm expecting them to go mid, but we'll have to wait and see.

I kind of thought about that myself, so they could get both, but mages are still in mid and unless you're Azir or something you don't have mobility which is basically why they put guys like that there, because its a short lane and they can get to lane faster and get away from ganks faster.

It'll probably still be more efficient to have a teleport party botlane and then take dragon.

Maybe if you have somebody like Kog'Maw that seriously doesn't want to do much pre-20 minutes
