Anyone know any good tuturials on taliyah's vector casting W or tips?

I keep 'canceling' her W... It will show the indicator but if i move out of range (sometimes this happens while i'm doing it clearly in the casting zone) the spell will not go off...? I never had this problem with viktor or rumble. This generally occurs if I'm trying to cast the spell (her W) while moving, especially backwards trying to cast it and push them in my direction.

I really like her but I can't keep trying to play her like this lol... any good tips or tutorials? Tried to practice her in practice tool but I can't seem to resolve the issue...
