Am I the only one who feels Rek'sai's tunnels are out of place without her global ult?

Cause they feel that way to me. I understand why her ult was changed, but it feels like tunnel placement is less strategic and rewarding now.

Anyone else feel similar?

Her tunnels feel less strategic, in regards to global pressure, but it frees up using them in fights, since you don't have to keep certain tunnels in certain areas. Plus, the recharge time decrease feels nice.

Actually a good point there m8. I think they need to do a larger scale rework or rewert the changes imo.

Let's not jump to those conclusions..

rewert the changes would be better but she would stay the way she was up to this point so idk

I feel like Rek'Sai is not herself anymore. I cannot look at her and see a finished chanpion

Same here.

I additionally feel the her combat power hasn't really increased by that much. Especially considering she lost 40/50/60% attack speed from her ult.

I wish the cool down on a tunnel should be reduced and the time it takes to move through them should decrease with bonus movement speed. Just my thoughts on it. Whenever I have played Rek'Sai (which isn't much to be honest), I always felt like using her tunnels felt clunky since you had such a slow delay when you enter and exit them. It just feels "off" if you know what I'm saying. It's not fluid.

I strongly disagree. Rek'sai's tunnels give her the capacity to seize domain over an area over time. If she sticks around an area and the enemy team doesn't destroy her tunnels, she can get mobility almost on par with a yasuo in a minion wave. Given a few minutes, you can pretty much seize one half of the enemy jungle and just split push, and unless they send several people after you or a skilled assassin, they will NEVER catch you. Sometimes, not even then.

edit: and the new ultimate also makes rek'sai a WAY scarier duelist as well, with a brief untargetable period, ADDITIONAL gapcloser, and a pretty scary execute, all on a low cooldown (for an ultimate)
