What is the deal with Plat4?

I have a decent pool of stats to go off of, and its really concerning.

Games played in plat5 : 102. 87% win rate. Games played in plat4 : 40. 4% win rate.

Mind you maybe one of these losses can actually be attributed to my gameplay.

Matchmaking is BROKEN. Why is my account fixed for failure? What the hell is going on here? I am not a plat4 player, nor is there a massive difference between plat5 and pla4, there isn't even a small difference. So why the hell cant I win a game in plat4?

I win virtually all my plat5 games, enter promos, win my promos. proceed to lose 5 in a row in plat4 and immediately get kicked back into plat5. This has been going on for over 2 months.

LITERALLY as soon as I enter Plat4, I am limited to hard stuck gold players, and I don't understand why. And yes its confirmed. all 4 allies, every game are 500+ games Gold players.

Your matchmaking is bad because people are just generally boosted to plat or high gold. People usually won't want to pay such a huge amount of money for a diamond account, and they probably wouldn't want to waste their money on a silver account either (no season rewards).

Just had a 700 games gold ADC that had both forms of LW, and didn't understand that they don't stack, or which one "reduces healing". Didn't comprehend grievous wounds....needless to say back in plat5.

matchmaking is broken.

I'm just accepting it. Its impossible to win a plat4 game on this account. Looks like that's as high as I'm going this season. How pathetic.
