what is the counter play for eve?

NodirjonSattarov··2 votes·2,019 views
  • warding? invis
  • chunk her? passive healing
  • QSS her initial attempt at ganking? she clears 1 camp and comes back
  • lock her down? She presses R
  • MR? she has magic penetration

why does this champion have to be an abomination in solo Q that she maintains extremely high pick rates/win rates across the board in higher elo?

my solution is to reward me for dodging her skill shot in her attempt at charming. I've dodged so many times only for her to press Q repeatedly and charm me or flashing to auto me. WHY DOES SHE GET SO MANY FALLBACK OPTIONS?

Probably means control wards and counter jungle wards

Thingamajig2 votes

too complex of a concept for our friends here

Regular wards wont reveal her and thats a given. Control wards can be killed and she can just come back when she knows there aren't any or just go a different path since there are a maximum of 5 on field. But I don't know maybe thats to complex of a concept for you?

ward the camp see when she clears it estimate time of arrival hard push and reset or back off

rocket science i know

it's so impossible to play against stealth champions that shaco evelynn and twitch have seen 2 games in competitive play since ever

Eve is cancer just like every other assassin in this game.

Shields are Eve's primary weakness, since she's a one and go assassin. She has to chunk the shield before HP, and her kit is designed to "just get there" on killing HP. If she suddenly has to chew a 300-400 shield, she usually won't get the kill.

She also is one of the hardest countered stealth champs by control wards. Teams who don't clear wards for Eve generally lose hard because she loses her initiative.

Also, her mag penetration is directly correlated to her W. Don't engage her on W..... be in a position to run from it. But, if she chases you anyways, resist WILL work, and you will have a major advantage.

P.S. R doesn't work if she's CC'd.

Unlike most assassins, Eve also generally has to walk. In other words, her weakness is often her team. If her team is dying, leaving her alone, she has insane trouble applying pressure to lanes or clearing pushes. She's also a generally weak Drake/Baron taker. Control objectives and Eve teams generally fall behind.

COVER YOUR TEAMMATES. A close team is almost immune to Eve.

"be in a position to run from it." pretty hard considering you won't know where she is coming from [zombie-brand-clap]

Her W has a charge up and also tells you the second it's fully charged where she is with an arrow pointing to her.... Run Toward a Turret..... Place a control ward near you.... or be ready to Flash when the Heart is full and flash out of her range.....

Be ready to flash the low CD ability. Very nice.

Eve's cooldowns are NOT low lmfao.

Allure TARGET RANGE: 1200 / 1300 / 1400 / 1500 / 1600 COST: 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 Hate Spike TARGET RANGE: 800 COST: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 MANA COOLDOWN: 8 Whiplash TARGET RANGE: 210 COST: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 MANA COOLDOWN: 8

Her charm is literally a 15-11 base cooldown ability. If she fails it, it's literally on cooldown for 8-7 seconds even on 40% CDR...... and another 2.5 second charge up, making it effectively a 10.5-17.5 second cooldown skill.....

And on most builds, she only carries around 20% CDR.....

10.5-17.5 seconds is HUGE for a skill that just gave away your location! Don't let her hit you with Allure up. Period. She will lose about 1/3 of her damage!. If you have Resist, she will lose more......

She has no vs Champion spammables.... If she fails, she's either dead, or has to waste her ult to live (many champs can also follow her after she ults....)

It's also really hard to hit those skills when you're already visible, and Eve simply doesn't survive 8 seconds of visibility. You basically have one chance to kill a target. One.

  1. Play a tanky champion (most top laners fit this criteria)
  2. Scale/snowball early to make sure you can at least try and duel her
  3. Control wards
  4. Know evelynn's pathing. Predict where she will be. Engage against your enemy laner only if you know where she is
  5. Shut her down early (if you are a jungler, invade her. she's extremely weak pre 6). If you aren't a jungler, just roam into the river to prevent her from getting scuttles. She can't contest scuttles early!

She has % MR penetration. Did you even read my post? Control wards don't reveal her and she doesn't need to clear them if she's invisible.

Tanks do not counter Eve. In fact she's generally a counter to them because they are some of the easiest champs to hit a full duration Allure on....which late game gets them hit for 90% of their HP in a single skill (E)

CC tanks are another discusion, because in team play, they are the go-to to stop her from participating on risk of a CC death. But one of the best Voli/Darius killers is Eve.

P.S. Eve CAN contest scuttle lol.

Deep wards to see which side of the map she is near by where she is in the jungle.
