I have wanted to learn 
for a while.
I recently unlocked a skin for her, and gave it a try.
I think I played 3 normals, in Mid.
Syndra, Zed, and I don't remember who....
I got my ass kicked.
I want to try her more, but only if it is an easy lane for her.
If that makes any sense.
What champs is she really good against?
She's just... really bad right now. She does no damage, she's melee, and w/o help from the jungle to get her snowballing she's useless.
Mainly AD assassins, but they're so busted atm that she can't compete with them. And also mages with no cc (or cc with relatively high cooldowns), but yeah as stated above she's bad atm
I'm a Kat main low elo, and unfortunate she is the weakest assassin right now.
She has a delayed combo You have to place your daggers perfectly (sometimes it's just luck and the opponent runs by it) You have no shield or cc And her auto attacks are the weakest. Good players will just wait till you shenpo to them and they will cc hard (ahri, lux, ryze, tf, anivia, etc).
Kat has very few good matchups, but for the most part just try to cs, wait for ganks and teamfights.
Riot needs to remove the delay in her E and W. its just not smooth.
Although she is in a really bad state, I would recommend learning her, I can do well with her even though she desperately needs buffs. Easy lanes are immobile mages with no cc or long cds on cc. Hard matchups are cc heavy mages, and some assassins... examples are LB Fizz Xerath
There is no really easy matchup if you can't play her.
You need to play her a while to play her more or less correctly. Not to mention that she isn't really strong atm.
I got diamond 4 in 3 weeks playing katarina the champ is op af only if u know how to play her well.you must roam a lot and look for every teamfight possible
