I've stopped caring about ranked matches, and am admitting I suck
But I'm still going to play them, just with an insanely relaxed attitude. In addition I'm going to play champions I love, not necessarily meta ones. If I'm just going to do poorly, get feeders, get leavers/dcers, and shit on in chat over a video game, then I'm at least going to have fun doing it. I'm going to spam champions I personally have fun with and /mute all from the get go. Trying to climb is absolutely pointless no matter how good I try to get. I'm not Gold Material, I'm barely Silver Material, and it's time I just admitted it and had fun. Yes I could play Normals, but I'd rather just keep playing ranked.
You did it Riot, and the LoL community. You broke me. It's all become clear. I'm a terrible player, and that's just fine.
Edit: To clarify, I'm still going to try to win, but the relaxation is going to come from not caring about losses. At least if I play what I want, mute everyone, and try to ignore the leavers and feeders, I am at least completely in control of my experience and outlook at that point. I'm going to laugh every time something goes wrong and smile whenever I get a good play. I'm also not playing Normals because they don't "mean" anything. Ranked means something to me, and gosh darn it I'm going to enjoy Ranked and enjoy myself.
