I hate playing against premades.

It is an absolute gamble whether your premade is better or worse than the enemy premade, and here's the thing: it's no fun either way.

When they are better, sure you get a free win, but you have zero input. You might as well have AFK farmed all game. When they are worse, you get a free loss where you are helpess and get 3 man invaded, counterganked, while your lanes get destroyed.

I see nothing positive for a solo player.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

I get a headache when I talk and play at the same time. I'd rather play solo or in a duo where I don't need voice.

I do premades with friends (on normals mostly) and we don't use mics. We just use text.

Well, even in a True SoloQ, there is still a gamble of whether your *teammates are better or worse than the enemy *teammates. But it is still fun and you have definitely more than 0 input.

I can't believe that because some of the teammates are premade, suddenly it changes everything. Why the game should be decided by only 3 or 4 people if they banded together before the match, but by 5 otherwise? Where is the logic in that?

simple: because 3 or 4 people can be on voice comms where they have far superior coordination to the people who are not. before, it was 3 or 5 random people. Now over half the team can be non-random.

in a true solo queue, it is much less likely that everyone on your team is worse than their counterparts. And even so, at least you have some sort of input because the enemies are not coordinated enough (since they aren't on voice chat and don't have alot of games together) to camp your lane 24/7 or 3 man invade.

Yeah, I still don't buy it. Even if people are 4-premade, it doesn't mean that all 4 of them are above the other premade in opponent team or vice-versa. So you can have 3 good player and their terrible friend they are carrying, and the other team has 4 average player that coordinate well, and it's basically a draw, and your input is the deciding factor. Also, far from all premades are using voice chat. I know it for a fact because I often go in premade 3 or 4 with people from 2-3 different countries, and we never voice chat because we have no spoken common language, and I'm pretty sure I'm not a statistical anomaly (at least on EUW).

Saying "if I have a premade-3 or -4 in my team, the game doesn't depend on me anymore" is IMHO a blatant exaggeration.

that is EUW. This is NA. In NA there is only 1 language. Also, positions do matter. So what if I'm against 3 plat 1s who are diamond smurfs carrying their gold friend? Does it really test my skill as a plat to be playing against diamonds or golds?
