In all seriousness, Veigar stuns were shutting down flashy plays of LeeSin and Zed . In the interests of making THEIR play more fun, Riot decided it was better for the health of the Streamers - I mean game - to make playing against Veigar less frustrating.

Wait. I think I get it. Maybe I'm crazy, but what if they're making Lee Sin the gold standard ("This is how we want a champion to look and feel stats and kit-wise") and continue in their refusal to nerf him because he's now the zero-point balancing agent. His position in the meta dictates changes to other champions in an attempt to bring other champs up to his level.

Funny thought, may have no bearing at all.

Well, what do you expect.....people are tired of getting ignored, and the most people think that the Veigar changes are idiotic. Of course they are going to respond with rage.

That, and they have seen many champions get neglected after things like this go through (just look at Cassiopea, or Olaf).

Except there is a much bigger difference in Lee and Veigar. Lee has had the spotlight on him forever. He is versatile but falls off. He doesn't become an oppressive monster able to kill people and walk away unharmed (although Veigar will normally have to be farmed for it). Not that he deserved nerfs.

Lee has always maintained a relatively low WR for his popularity as well as a low ban rate. Showing that people may be annoyed by him but are obviously don't care enough to ban him and he doesn't tend to influence the majority of games enough to warrant being super jump the gun on him.

Veigar has averaged about a 50% WR with a very toxic kit and they are trying to fix that whether they are doing it the right way or not.

I honestly don't understand why people want to nerf lee sin so much. Yes his kit seems really strong, but Vi, j4, and Pantheon are all doing so much better than he is. Not to mention their late game is better than lee's with the exception of maybe pantheon, but I don't really feel lee is deserving of a nerf. And no I do not play lee sin.

Nice Sherlock meme, I'm a fan. Rioters are drunk as all hell for all we know thinking we want any mana cost reduction, when you look at 90% of Veigar players builds for mid lane you see item 3027 meaning Veigar won't have mana problems for a large portion of the game, and doesn't have a reason to use mana early other than to Q and protect himself.

Check Lee Sin's patch notes history. All nerfs.
