New Concept Art Revealed at Italian League Event

Some people say it's the rumored Kallista champion, some a new Karthus skin, some the Mordekaiser VU.

Whatever it is, looks extremely awesome!

Literally just found it on Moobeat's twitter, I'll edit if there's any news or context, but if you want the source there it is.

EDIT: okay also this image was put on the Italian FB page 9 hours ago: http://i.imgur.com/ajPTx7W.jpg EDIT: So there's a new Redpost on S@20 mentioning pretty much all of the stuff but doesn't give much new info, still interesting to read. If you don't know about the mysterious "Fabulist" writer or the "Mark of the Betrayer" teaser on the OCE FB then make sure to read it! This art is not confirmed to be anything material and can be just concept art!

If you read the Surrender@20 post, the Red clearly says this is not related to a champion or skin. Just a spectral denizen of the Shadow Isles. Nothing to get hyped over.

"Hey guys, just to give you all a bit of context on this- Our theme for Lucca Comics and Games 2014 is 'The Harrowing' and we have several artist panels showcasing the art of the Shadow Isles. This particular talk was showing how we created ghostly figures used in the concept art and is a representation of an ethereal being that might be seen somewhere in the Shadow Isles. We showed the artistic process of sketching and colouring for all the people watching. It is not a concept sketch of a new champion. We mentioned that during the talk several times but will make that clearer on screen for future presentations so that we can avoid confusion."

I honestly hope that it's not Mordekaiser. He's the giant metal man of suffering, not a ghosty goo.

I have no idea what to think of this.

At best, it would either be a new Karthus skin or a new Morde skin. However, this mystery image seems to use a mace, which wouldn't fit Karthus, but it seems too spectral to fit with Mordekaiser.

I doubt that it would be Kallista because of how much this looks like a man, where Kallista is a woman's name, and how she is rumored to use spears, not maces.

UPDATE ~6:50 AM PDT: Riot has put out a statement regarding the Shadow Isles looking concept art from Lucca:;

So the shadow isles thing isn't a new champion, however all this stuff with the mark of the betrayer and fabulist is starting to get very interesting, I can't wait to see what happens next with it!

If that's Mordekaiser I'm going to be so pissed.

It's just a fucking insult to intelligence.

Wow, a big guy in armor wielding a mace? That doesn't make me instantly think of Sauron at all! No way he casts magic, I'm going to build full tank and AD and completely ignore his suggested build path.

If that's Morde, it's character identity destruction on the level of Trundle.
