Yeah, there is NO WAY he will join into any rounds past Bans.

Great job Rito, you just overcasualized junlgling.

Not really any good jungler will shit on a bad jungler. I guess maybe for like gold and below it might be bad since he just gets free waveclear but still then they wont know how to abuse it. Probably banned alot at higher elos depending on ratios tho.

How does he get free waveclear? His passive takes away % Hp and Mana.

He can put his passive down on his buff, walk over to the enemy buff and instantly clear it, then walk back to his buff and take it instantly. Meanwhile the enemy is just now finishing their buff and walking to the buff you just stole.

Does he have to lay down the passive on their side too? Or no? Regardless this is assuming that both of their buffs are up at the same time. If I remember correctly, he can't do this to buffs until level 5.

I think the level 5 thing is when Buffs get copied.

I think yes he can apply his passive to his Blue, run to their Red, apply passive and summoner 11 Red for instant clear, run back to Blue for clear now that the timer is done. He's healing/healed from Red.

I dunno his kit yet but that's what appeared to happen in the streamed demonstration today.

Both buffs were up because it was early game and Purple team didn't start Red.

Yes but it takes about 5 seconds i think. You lay down your passive on your Blue at the start of the game, walk over to enemy red and lay down your passive then smite it for instant clear. Then walk back to your Blue and take it too, then go get your Red so they can't steal it. All 4 buffs spawn at the same time at the start of the game, plus if you steal one you have its timer meaning you can go back whenever to steal it again.

At level 5 when he clears a buff a small seed is left behind, any ally can then come to that seed and collect the buff. Both Ivern and the ally will get whatever buff it was. So if he is level 5 and clears Blue, the mid laner can walk over and collect Blue. Then they would both have Blue; he can do the same thing with Red buff and the ally ADC/Top laner.

He can have groves growing on any number of camps at once, then walk around and collect all the rewards.

If Smite is used on a camp with a grove growing on it, the camp is released immediately. So with Smite, you can clear a camp near-instantly (as fast as you can click to "auto-attack" the camp and then Smite it).

This can all happen alongside the buff-sharing mechanic he unlocks upon reaching level 5. At that point, clearing a buff camp leaves a pickup that an ally can grab so that both Ivern and that ally get the buff.

Any strong early game jungler will have success vs him. I think Nidalee would have no trouble matching up vs him. His Q will cause mistakes and force ADC's to not be able to AA that target unless they wanna get pulled straight into the team. Yeah his bushes are kinda cool, and his ult seems good, just don't see that being enough.

Interesting point about ADCs being pulled in. I wonder how it will be.

You're pulled into your attack range, not melee range

Pretty much all new champs/reworks are banned the first patch they get released.

Stephenizgod1 votes

I ban new champions because I don't want them on my team. I am low gold, no one on my team will be able to use any new champion at all... they can barely use 80% of the champion roster as is...

Good job Riot you made a champion who can jungle and won't be shut out by Nidalee and Kindred through counterjungling alone.

He looks underpowered in my opinion to be quite honest... I could see him being strong in the right hands most certainly but playing him right would most certainly take some time.
