Does it strike anyone else as odd that Ekko's W is a better support kit than a lot of supports have?

Imagine this for a second:

A support champion has the following kit:

  1. Passive: Deals %hp magic damage with every autoattack
  2. Q: Creates a slowing field after a short delay
  3. W: I dunno, a dash or something
  4. E: 300+.8AP scaling Shield
  5. R: AOE 2.25s stun

that's a better kit than Taric, Sona, Soraka, Nami, Alistar and Braum have for supporting. I'd love that, a melee attack speed scaling AP support who locks down the enemy squishy line while bopping around their tanks with his %HP damage. Something like an assassin-y version of Lulu.

I love how you completely leave out the three second delay on the ability, and the fact that he has to be standing in it. His w is his worst ability. He's very, very strong, but his W is, by far, his worst ability.

Janna would be far better at supporting... she also has a disgusting shield that doesn't have a three second delay, and it gives your ADC AD.

lol @ being better than Sona. Her ult is instant. That's the difference here. They don't get a three second warning that they're going to eat an AoE stun. She also gives her whole team movespeed, she has a heal + shield, and she has great harass / damage support in lane.

If you're going to complain about something, complain about the ridiculous 1.3 AP ratio on his ult damage. When it already heals him for a ton and reverts his positioning, why does it need a 1.3 AP nuke tacked onto it? Or complain about how it's literally impossible to get away from him with E + Q.

So you're telling me. Ekko is better than thresh? I mean does Ekko have a hook, flay, latern, and A 99% slow ultimate?
