Meddler is obsessed with the word fantasy

It's why the games balance has been complete garbage since the Juggernaut patch. It's not about balance or smart design. It's about fulfilling fantasies. It doesn't matter what's happening in the game, how good you are with a champ, how good you are at landing skillshots, how fed you are, how behind etc, as long as you pick x champ you'll get to live x fantasy. Hence the move towards a massive increase in gold independent stats and abilities (Garen's ult, Darius's new passives, Morde's Q and passive, Brand's new AoE passive, Malz's passive, Zyra's everything, Taric's new ult, Kindred's entire design, thunderlords, warlords, fervor, deaths dance and phantom dancers invisible damage mitigation, massive increase in CDR etc).

I'm 100% certain after meddler retires from destroying this game and the next big game which will no doubt be looking to hire someone who looks like he knows what's up on a resume, he's gonna write a book on game design and it'll be based entirely on the premise that letting players live out their fantasies ig is just the bees knees.
