Why you should not buff Akali even if she's weak

The argument she's new and so far every champion that's been new has been buffed causing them to become overbearing in the game is true because it has happened. Nobody likes an Akali meta - her old kit was bad. This kit can easily be worse.

That's not the only issue though. She is the only champion with true stealth - thus, imagine how aggravating it will be with her high playrate currently if she was so viable.

Akali's current kit should have a winrate of 49% when viable as it should be mechanically endearing. How you use that shroud is important and in which matches she is picked is also important.

People saying she needs just slight buffs are forgetting Ornn, Swain, Kai'Sa, Zoe. Zoe is a nightmare of a balance - more than Ezreal. Akali's kit is in that nightmarish realm. Heck - we haven't even balanced Azir or Ryze yet to a great status.

why is this game becoming more and more unfun to play? that shroud is legit annoying af.

I don't mind the shroud at all. What I do mind is that a good Akali can miss her E's and still have a second way to kill you. E > E > Auto > Q can kill my itself, but if E misses, She still has options: R in, Q > Q > R. When 1v1 this is really annoying, because when she misses her engage, you really feel like you're outplaying her, and then... BAM..... you're suddenly stunned and dead.

I've supported two reworked Akalis so far. First one was good, and we stomped bot, carrying the game. Second one was drunk or something, made several bad plays, and somehow broke even anyway. The rest the team and I carried. Honestly I think she's already pretty strong. No need for a buff yet.

She is not weak. She's just an extremely high skill cap. Once you have 10-20 games on her she'll perform for you like the old Akali. Once you have 100-150 games on her, she'll be the most toxic champion in the game.

She doesn't even need her whole kit to kill... just 3-4 casts/autos. She actually has Pentakill potential if played perfectly.
