Newly Viable Runic Echo Junglers

Note: This list has no purpose but to express my hapiness that finally more mage junglers are viable as opposed to only those who could use a lichbane. Well done Riot for creating an item that will probably inevetable get nerfed, but at the very least helps out mage junglers and drastically improves diversity.

Note #2: Why couldnt Runeglaive AND Runic Echo be kept? That way junglers could have plenty of options rather than being pigeonholed into anything.

Note #3: Not saying these champs will become op, its just that Runic Echo allows them to do their job without dying.

I'd argue this buffs every AP jungle.

Higher damage overall at first. For comparing the procs. The higher AP should keep Runic Echo stronger at all points because of the scaling on the rest of a champion's kit.
MS is more helpful to a jungler over CDR(although the CDR will be missed). Would be nice if procing it on a large monster also reduce the casted spell's CD by 1s. While on someone like Karma this can be the same as 20-30% CDR on her Q. It's only for her Q. And unless she hits both a champion and a monster, it doesn't help her fight others. A lot of AP's have trouble jungling because AD junglers don't need to cast spells and are not as limited by cooldowns. Allowing faster clears. But overall. AP junglers need sorc boots. While many others can get mobility boots.
Comparing the two to their counterparts (Runeglave vs Lichbane, Runic Echo vs Luden's Echo). It's better to have Runic Echo and Lichbane. Mainly because of Luden's poor proc scaling. So champions who want Lichbane get a stronger early item before they build Lichbane. Most of the champions you listed under "nerfed" want both Ludens and Lichbane for the burst.

Maybe a nerf to Evelyn. She has low enough CD spells to proc Runeglave a lot. But that also means she'll be procing Runic quite a bit as well. She also often builds both if she's going AP. So it'd be a buff in that sense. But if she's only going to build one. It's a nerf. Very slight one.

Lich Bane is always a better option than runeglaive, and the only reason ekko would go runeglaive was cuz he is jungling. he can by runic echos and go lich bane and it will actually be stronger.

jungle ekko might be worth playing again

used to be kinda shitty since the old ap item messed with buildpaths since you had to sell it later for a lich bane and morellos/nashors depending on how far into the game you are

nvm no cdr thats really going to slow down ekkos deathcap void staff combo

Don't knock runic echoes on Diana unless you've tried it. I've been raping people as Diana on the PBE. That extra movement speed and burst is very powerful.
