Reverting, Malzahar and Rengar.

As many are complaining for a malzahar revert, I'm just gonna explain why it isn't likely. Not that I support that it shouldn't happen, I'm just going to explain why it isn't likely.

Kog'maw got a revert because Sheen'Maw was fine. OnHit'maw forced riot to nerf all onhit items to the shit tier because otherwise Kog'maw would be even more busted than 5.24 Mordekaiser.

Current malzahar is cancer, but so was old malzahar. Old was probably better to play as, but to play against, it's likely lot better because he can't just flash+pool+Ult you at level 6 with ignite for a guarantee kill. New malzahar is still cancer. Aka, New malz is cancer. No revert because old one was cancer too.

Rengar right now is still pretty overpowered even after multiple nerfs. But just like malzahar, Old Rengar was even more cancerous than the new one. By A LOT.

TLDR: Riot will only revert if the reverted champion is healthy.

stealthed was changed so it would already be a big change to old rengar.. old rengar is much easier to balance than new rengar. rengar is going to fall in line with azir, aatrox, Tristana, Kalista etc. he's either too good and op. or he's weak and useless.

Would be nice if you actually bothered explaining your reasoning as to why new Rengar is harder to balance than the old one.

His w is far more fitting for a bruiser than his old one ... and his entire kit is overloaded with high numbers to make up for his clunky kit. as soon as they make his numbers too weak, he's just a clunky mess...

How is his W far more fitting for a bruiser? It gives him the option to sacrifice damage and continue his rampage without getting cockblocked by crowd control. It's perfectly fine on an assassin. CC immunity isn't, but trading damage for one Qss is perfectly fine.

Well his numbers are too high, and he isn't as smooth as before, but there is a lot more counterplay; Doding his Q, and even if the adc flashes now, he can dash up to them as a follow up instead of "Oops didn't oneshot and adc flash gg im ded" and offers ample room to play as and against, instead of always going for empowered Q.

This is coming from a player who doesn't even play Rengar.. Lol. There is a REASON people are going warrior/bc TANK after.. and it has everything to do with his kit's design..

His W is BETTER when built as a fighter His Passive is BETTER in longer fights (cant pre-stack) His R is WEAKER in team fights His Q is BETTER aoe.

The only reason Rengar is SOOO strong right now is because of bonetooh, and the W which got a HUGE nerf.. i don't expect him to be a competitive pick/ban anymore.

No the reason why you build tanky on rengar is because you can his 320 ad with 2-3 damage items. There's no point to build even more damage so the logical choice is to simply go tanky. You can double Q, with an auto crit. No need for more damage.

Yes, but why would you build full dmg items and maybe one shot the carry just maybe, when you can build warrior cleaver and full tank dive the enemy team during a teamfight and repeatedly cleanse cc and be cc imune for 1.5 secs while being incredibly hard to peel off the adc while deal bruiser type dmg comparable to people like hecarim/ vi while lasting much longer in the fight. Thats why people play tanky rengar right now

lol the w just fits bruiser more because you can heal more dmg frequently and get rid of the cc to keep rampaging on the carries while being like a much stronger irelia to peel off the carries

How is his W far more fitting for a bruiser?

This item 3071 and this item 3065 and you are set.

Your Q applies 2 stacks of Cleaver and with Visage you heal more damage than you take. His W is reactive, assassins aren't reactive. They are aggressive, they will make the first step or anticipate what its coming.

Qss is perfectly fine.

Which means that after you used your W you will get destroyed by the next CC. Rengar escape is shit compared to other assassins, so he will be forced to build tanky if he doesn't want to get destroyed. If Rengar was working was due to his EMP W and his stupid damage.

More reasons?

His Q has a cast time that makes him stop and being stuck during its animation, Assassins don't want to being stopped. His Passive allows him to build not many damage and still have ton of damage. Also you have to spend around 2 seconds building ferocity, an Assassin doesn't want to spend sooo much time for killing the target. They want to: Go in->Do damage->Out Not: Go in->Stack your damage->Damage->Out This fits a bruiser more than an assassin. A typical bruiser Rengar build will give you:

Around 320 AD Around 120 of Armor and MR. Around 3k Health.

That's stupid AF.

but there is a lot more counterplay

Another problem for assassin Rengar.

You struggle reaching your target due to your ult indicator, and after that you will struggle (if you don't get the crit, which shouldn't exist at first place) at killing it because your Q has a cast time, if you fail it you are dead, and after that you will struggle at going out since your escape isn't really good. However if you build bruiser: You will struggle reaching your target, you won't struggle at killing it because the room for errors is higher, finally, you will get out easily due to your tankiness.

just going for empowered Q.

Not true.

You used EMP Q for safe and secure damage if you were sure that the target would die. You used EMP W if the fight wasn't going good and you wanted to restore some heal back. You used EMP E if the target had a lot of mobility, also this was the safest option but it wouldn't oneshot the target since the damage was lower.

Now, however (talking from 7.2 perspective):

-Emp Q is only useful for a secure kill (Not really changed). However most of the time you have enough damage without this skill. -Emp W is pretty much the best option since you will avoid all CC and will help you escape and reaching your target. -Emp E lacks of use since Emp Q has a dash and Emp W avoids CC. You only use this for disengage or trap a target for your team.

I played a lot of old Malz, and this is false. You needed to land your q and have passive up to kill a 100% target even with ignite at 6. Also, with the cast delay on both w and e required your target to be even closer to get all the spells off and have them still be in range of r. That's if they had very low MR. If they had MR runes, they needed to be around 70-80% HP and out of position.
