Players back way too often

Their thinking probably goes " i'm safely backing and not feeding, no harm done"

But in actuality, every time you back you are removing pressure from the map, freeing up objectives and putting your teammates in danger of being double teamed

I'm not about to stay in top lane with no health and no summoners after just surviving getting ganked

I would say it's not so much that they back too often as it is that they don't know when the proper times to back are. I've had times where I've backed in less than a minute after returning to lane, even though I was healthy (there was a good reason for it: I had just power-farmed and shoved in the wave, and had enough gold to get an item spike, and I didn't want to be that far up in lane with my opponent there). I've also had times where I accumulated upwards of 4000 gold without having backed yet because there were constantly things more worth doing than cashing in my massive gold reserve for the associated item power spike it would grant (constant opportunities that were too good to pass up for the item power spike I would get).

Yeah they should stay if they have 100 health and their enemy is full health. Like what are you doing dude pressure the map LOL

Yeah, but I rather my teammates get fucked by the jungler than getting raped myself. If you're pushing and lack vision/info it's always good to back, regen, and buy. brb hehehehe

It's fine to back if you're under 50% HP/mana AFTER you've pushed the wave into the enemy tower to deny them farm or if you have teleport to quickly back, buy, and keep control of the wave if the enemy laner is in base.

if I have the gold for it and can go back relatively safely to buy a core item or a strong item for early game, i'll probably either push in or make sure wave stays frozen so i can get my stuff and either add to my sustain or my pressure against my lane opponent. Making sure you get the items you need so you can scale is also important.

I'd rather be able to get my bf sword before my opponent if possible if bot lane so i can out-trade them or have better control of the wave. etc

If I am playing against an assassin or burst mage in the mid lane, I will back when I am less than 70% hp because I know what they are capable of doing.
