Pro players are losing their minds!

The new ranked system needs to be fixed; We have diamond players playing against grandmaster and challengers. I would be losing my mind too if I were a challenger adc with a diamond support feeding the enemy grandmaster bot duo.

Riot, great idea in theory for ranked roles, but mmr is getting trashed with these loopholes and false lane lp gains. Players with 70% win rates gaining only 18 lp per game but losing 30 per loss. Even they struggle to climb, thats like 12 lp a day.

They made the bell curve larger... More players can get higher. It's typical casual gamer catering. So yes the pros will be frustrated. But think of the sick armors everyone will now have! Wood IV no more. Check out my sweet Diamond duds.

When letting the game stay XXXX for months on end so their tournaments can go uninterrupted isn't enough : X

bot duo

We have flex queue, why is there still no dedicated solo queue?

System is a bit wonky with its opacity and the levers it may or may not be pulling. Have to deal with hidden ELO versus shown MMR plus a beta that gives someone a different sub-ELO for each position.

If Riot made dedicated soloQ, flex wouldn't have enough players to provide them with games. Not many people would want to play against duos, but for as long they don't have any other option, they gotta stick with it.

To be quite honest with you i am still a bit mixed on the changes and heres why. The new season is still pretty fresh and historically its always been weird around this time. The new system is yes gonna make that situation worse in the short term but we should be thinking about the long term. A lot of people say they want the system to change but fail to understand the affect of said change, any change they do to the system is going to have adverse affects in the short term. the LP gains ect sound more like unintended bugs that they already said they are working on rather then something thats intended. I'd suspect everything to stabilize more by mid season.
