I'm Sick And Tired of People Complaining about Yasuo`s Mobility

Honestly, he has his e. His E. That`s it. And yes, he can use it to dash to:

  1. Enemy champions
  2. Enemy minions
  3. Jungle monsters

So he either has to go DEEPER into your territory to escape, or he has to go THROUGH YOU. Yes, at high levels I've witnessed people jumping walls using ward + E on a jungle moster. So what? You can do the same thing with pantheon. Yes, it's essentially limitless dashes at almost no CD. But for "Limitless dashes", it seems to me that he's really pretty limited. If he wants to escape using minions, he has to make sure that they're on their way (If a wave only JUST spawned, and there's none near him, he has no minion escape), he has to waste a ward on a jungle camp in order to dash (so many other champions can do this without wasting a ward, I don't see this as OP at all), or he has to charge right through you, which is useless if he's only an autoattack from death.

In conclusion, this is a post about his mobility; I don't care if you hate his windwall, I couldn't care less if you hate his shield, I don;t care if you hate his ult having substantial armour pen. This is a post about his mobility - and he really doesn't have all that much of it.

I think the complaint about his mobility is his ability to dodge skillshots during laning phase.

I agree. Yasuo's E is one of those things which is hilariously predictable, and in most cases fairly easy to play around.

I mean, the ideal scenario for him is E through a minion (to almost close the gap), hit you, E through you, E out again. Great, but predictable. Can be played around pretty easily, especially if you just sit a little past max range E and make him trap himself to fight you.

Or place your AoE effects on yourself. Seriously, Yasuo E is slow as hell for a dash. Look at something like Xin E, Lucian E, most of Riven's dash, then get back to me on what moving fast is. Yasuo's is slow as hell and you can generally use that to your advantage.

The biggest thing I notice about Yasuo's E is the minion conveyer belt. I used to kill people all the time with it, and all too frequently I see people just mindlessly run past their creep wave to get away, when if they just dipped into the jungle / kept their distance they'd be fine.

Also if he wants to spam his e it gives him some really good waveclear early, which I feel some people overlook.

Youre mixing up two things here - escapes and mobility. Theyre overlapping, but not the same. You can indeed rarely use Yasuos E to escape, but that isnt what people are complaining about. He has unfavored mobility in the laning phase, which makes him immune to all skillshots if he can use it (and therefore to 80% of a midlaner's poke). Also, as soon as he gets Statikks (as in some Atkspeed), he is just gonna charge his Q while closing the gap and then EQR you, so you have to stay either in the very back near the tower, or at the side of the lane. In the former case youll be missing tons of last hits, in the latter youre extremely vulnerable to ganks.

Dude, I love playing Yasuo but you have to admit. His E is bull shit. At least in lane.
