Why are some of the pro junglers taking a 2% XP gained quint in their rune pages?

I tried running it after seeing some of them take it (saw their games on ProBuilds) and I didn't notice too much of a difference in the XP I get from my several first camps. It definitely doesn't put you in a situation where you need to kill less camps in order to hit level 3 and gank (that'd be disgusting, just like when they changed the jungle and made it so Red>Krugs = Lv. 3 before botlane's second wave even arrives)

So.. What is the real purpose of this quintessence, then? Is it for junglers to not fall behind their laners later on so they hit 6 with them in order to set up proper ganks or fights? Because despite spending some time in PT, I didn't manage to find out why they run that rune.

Example: http://www.probuilds.net/guide/show/KR/2862381742/2749828 Jin Air Raise ran a 2% XP gained quintessence on his Rek'Sai..

I believe it's to get you to Level 3 faster if one of your first few camps is Raptors.

Watch their jungle paths, not just their builds, if you want to figure it out.

So red buff + all raptors + scuttle = level 3

oh.. I never took Scuttle as a third clear in consideration. mb I guess this is it

It's specifically to pull off an early level 3 gank, using that route. I believe some junglers can get to level 3 before the solo laners, and certainly before bot lane, giving them a huge advantage in the fight.

Edit: It literally just happened in CLG vs. NV (game 3), with Dardoch getting a first blood gank in mid

Xp falls off super hard in the jungle. In most of my games me and the enemy jungler will be level 4 when out top and mid lanes are level 6. that 2% probably gets you to level 5 when most junglers would be level 4.
