why do people just afk/farm all game long? not participating in a single team fight, or team work. usually top laners do this. now let me clear this up, doesn't happen often, but when it does.....it's so god damn aggravating makes me wanna afk. being the good team player that i am i still manage to fight til the end, whether we win or lose (more likely we will lose if we have a afk/farmer).

happens to me about 1 out of every 6 games i play. so what is the purpose of just afk/farming all game long without any sort of team interaction and/or communication? i'm just really curious to find out. it's really picking at my brain. what drivers certain plays to accumulate massive amounts of cs disregarding the fact that there are other objectives in the games. some people even stay in lane when nexus is getting attacked. like bruh, really? you just going to let them take our shit while you cs?

you are better off playing bots, because if that's all you do then you're screwing everyone on your team over by being a cs hogger.

I think that the top laners that do this think THEY are the adcarry, and need a lot of farm to carry late game. So they just sit up in the top lane farming.

We all live in the real world. Sometimes people have to be somewhere, they didn't think their schedule through before starting the game, or it's a child who was called up to dinner by unsympathetic parents. A lot of people who have afk'd are as upset as you are.

not talking about actual afking, but people who just farm and don't participate with the team

Cause they play Jax or Tryndamere who are not particurlary good at teamfighting and can take towers very fast. So instead of trying to go 5v5 vs that Malphite Yasuo combo they instead split up and force 2 or more enemies to come top to stop, which gives your team a chance to make plays on the map, by making use of your numbers advantage elsewhere or pressure a second lane to keep the enemy on the run and preventing them from teaming up and teamfighting you cause that is what they want. You always gotta adapt to your champion and the champions on the enemy team. If you have a Jax top, Zed mid and a Vayne adc vs a Wukong, Orianna and Graves why would you try to teamfight? You will most likely get rekt unless you had a huge advantage from laning phase.
