Let's talk about Akali
Kassadin loses his silence. LeBlanc loses her silence. Talon loses his silence.
Why? Because there needed to be some counterplay for these champions so that opponents don't get bursted down without being able to react. Now let's look at some of the other hyper carry assassins. Specifically Akali. She uses no mana, has natural sustain, and an ability that makes her unseen to the opponent. I believe that Twilight Shroud is the equivalent unhealthy mechanic for her as was silence was for the listed champions above.
My proposed fix: Make Akali enter stealth when in Twilight Shroud with a delay. Similar to how it takes time for Twitch and Rengar to become stealthed. This creates two things. Akali players must be more careful about when they will go in. They must pick their fights. This is similar to what the Kassadin nerfs did. He must pick his fights carefully or risk burning through all of his mana with his Rift Walk. In addition, the change also allows for counter play from the enemy team. They have a moment to react knowing that she would be entering stealth soon. Now I'm not saying that the delay should be massive. Heck, maybe there should only be a delay when she is being attacked (similar to how Twitch takes longer to stealth when under attack). But I believe a delay of around half a second would be plenty of time for an enemy team to counter play, but short enough that the Akali could still use it for safety.
