i bet everyone has heard about Luden's Echo by now the new mage item whos purpose is to fill DFG's shoes. before we get this kicking off i have some questions for rioters about the functionality of the item.

  1. how does it prioritize on AOE? lets say im using my favorite champion lux and i fire my ult at a point blank enemy, but the tip of the lazer hits someone much further away, who gets the effect of the item? do both? does only one? if it works anything like statik shiv id imagine one of the enemies gets the effect proc, and the other will be too far away to be effected by it.

  2. does it prioritize champions? if im fighting 2 enemy champions in a field of minions an i throw a single target spell at one champion, will Luden's splash just effect random targets within the radius, or does it prioritize champions within the radius? seems like it would make the most sense if it searched for enemy champions first.

  3. does it proc spell vamp/rylais/etc? id imagine no, but its worth asking.

im personally very excited and nervous about this item. i think poke/ranged mages are going to thrive on it, but then again those close quarters short cooldown assassins might just rise even further onto their throne.

Its a massive burst proc on anybody hit by the ability. Its an aoe burst. Its much better on single target abilities then aoe ones though. Akali with that item can 100 to 0 somebody with that item and just one round of her abilities.

Will Luden's Echo stack ap for Veiger if he use's q and/or give stacks to Nasus if he use's his q when the passive procs and kills a minion? I'm really curious my guess it doesn't but, a person can dream.
