What counters Mordekaiser?

For all of the complaining people have of him, the least we can do is come up with counter picks and strats until Riot deals with him.

long ranged poke and disengage, and lots of mobility

My guesses are Vayne Varus KogMaw Kalista Sivir

Vayne can disengage from a stun and can push him away, deniying Q hits, and the W can shred his HP since he will try to build a bit tanky ( Morde will get targon, which is health + hp recovered, and will probably lane with a tanky champion too)

Varus has a lot of range, can predict when morde is about to heal and use GW and can deal HP% damage, which is useful for the same reason as vayne

About Kog' Maw i am unsure, he deals hp% damage too and can shred armor but he is probably too much squishy and has not enough disengages, but has a good range.

Kalista is able to deal a lot of HP% based damage with his ally and can make it hard for the enemy to land any cc, plus she can kite him quite well. She builds BotrK first and that help a lot too.

Sivir can spellshield the enemy support engage or Morde Q's ( if i am right, no matter which one she shields she negated the damage of them all), can poke in many different ways and can push him under turret, since he has no more the strong waveclear of time ago.

Counters haven't been identified yet and Worlds tends to support that.

everything counters him basically, hes total shit. his only "power" is that he can somewhat control lane by pushing it in easily plus the absurd power that comes with taking dragon.

aside from that, as a champion and laner he is really kinda weak and his teamfighting+skirmishing are much worse than many other champions. there is no need to "counter" him.
