Why do ivern's friends have so many cool skins and he only has one

Bard has a skin where he or anyone taking his magical journey becomes a penguin!!! and other cool skins too. Lulu has fifty bajillion skins, Maokai has skins too. Ivern feels kind of embarrassed when he's hanging out with his buds 'cuz they are far more pimp than he is ;(

Ivern is a relatively new champion compared to lulu and maokai.
