Yasuo's stacking in comparison to Aatrox stacking

Swollwonder··6 votes·656 views

Just for comparison on the "windows of opportunity"

Yasuo -takes three casts -scales with attack speed because the ability is technically an auto -Last for 10 seconds for between each stack -Could probably still play even if the stacking was removed

Aatrox -Takes five casts -scales with attack speed but at 3 times the cost -Lasts for 4 seconds between stacks -considered central to his kit

So Yasuo has better stacking for part of his kit which he could be viable without while Aatrox has worse stacking for something now considered central to his kit

Who thought this was ok?

Completely different

Yasuo's stacking resets after the third, he doesn't automatically get knock-ups permanently for the rest of his Q casts just for remaining in combat. It gives you 1 v 1 windows where he can't just ult you, and forces him to have enabling allies.

Aatrox passive gives him free stats, lasts as long as he's in combat, and gives him a revive passive. They serve different purposes, and Yasuo's Q is central to his kit function, as if he never had access to a knock-up, he'd literally never have an ultimate in 1 v 1s.

Yes I realize Yasuo would not have an ult. That's not the point. You could still play yasuo decently well without the stacking. If you took Aatrox stacking away what would he have?

Also Aatrox passive stays up for a laughable amount of time. Enemy dashes? Bye passive.

If you take away Yasuo's stacking mechanic, he literally doesn't have a knock-up.

And Aatrox passive always stacked, the only difference was that it used to stack based on health cost and didn't fall off immediately out of combat. They were right in changing that function, since having to both build tanky and build damage made his kit inherently dysfunctional. They also removed his health costs so it's not like e'ing into minion waves to stack passive before engaging to trade is the most dreadful thing in the world, you're really just complaining about a change that makes sense.

Your post shows a Yasuo but you seem to be talking about someone else

Pretty sure hes my most played champion...I think hes in the top three at least...so...

and you think he's playable without his only form of cc? the only way to trigger his ult by himself? his waveclear? his harass?

apples to oranges my friend. Their kits are entirely different.

Yeah one's well designed, the other isn't.

Yasuo is indeed better-designed than Aatrox.

Also, you compared prepping for CC to stacking for a stat increase steroid. Your comparison is laughably stupid.

Compare Aatrox's passive to Darius' Noxian Might, or even to Warwick's W. It makes more sense than the dumb shit you said, lol.

You can compare it to whatever you want. Anything in the game stacks better than that garbage and if you can't see that point I would imagine you're the idiotic one.

Not if you don't want to sound like an idiot, no.

They fanboy hard over Yasuo cause all the weeab OTP Yasuo mains.

He was getting banned out 70% of games IIRC, and all they did was give him a slight rescale.

You know why? It's because even riot can understand that there is counterplay.

It's not their fault that you refuse to change your playstyle to fit the matchup
