@Riot, are we ever getting the option where both teams appear as if they're on blue side?

I thought there were supposed to be some programming changes where both teams viewed their side as if they were blue. I know I tend to get a little frustrated when I end up on the red side, especially bot lane.

I find there are a great deal more blind spots when playing on the red team.

I would just like to know if this was possible with the programming, or will the map ever be tilted so the mid laners actually fight in a straight line horizonally instead of this weird slant they do currently.

Kind of thinking how the twisted treeline is set up, where lanes are horizontal on the screen.

If you are red and want to turn the map so you see yourself in blue position, you'd have to walk to your top lane in order to match up with blues bot lane. It's certainly possible (but a pain in the ass to program perhaps maybe) but I don't really see to use of it. Besides your minimap would be in the way of your road to mid lane, which can already be switched I think but it would still be something you'd have to adjust to as well.

But there is also the scenery to consider, the whole map is set up to be viewed from only 1 angle really, turning that around might fuck things up or just look really weird. This would also be a problem if just tilting the map slightly.

EDIT: Actually I thought about it some more and yes its totally possible, but its also never going to happen.

Instead of turning the map around, you'd have to flip it over upside down, which means you'd need to represent champions on both the right-side-up and upside-down version of the map. It's totally possible and never gonna happen. XD

You'd still have the same problem with the scenery though.
