even though some of the items are much less effective i don't see any of the new items being worthwhile.

Möral Support1 votesLook at it this way. Talon's build hydra for the activatable for that little extra burst. He builds ghostblade for the speedup while chasing or engage. Trinity isn't a core item on talon i mean its GOOD but its definitely not core. LW isn't being gutted its purpose still stands. Ie sure is being changed but the only reason he gets IE is for the crit chance. That crit chance is now passivly given on items.
Talon right now is HORRIBLE in this meta... but as soon as the marksman meta comes into play, he will become viable like every other assassin.

the ghostblade ie combo has 10 more ad big fuckign whoop now it loses 15% crit chance which was literally half of his damage output late game q crit with triniy deleted people it dealt more damage then his w and r combined.
very few people prefer the raw ad over the crit a lot of people benefited from the crit chance more than the ad.
Divewing1 votesNot to be the wet rag... But honestly that's good. That damage was/is filthy. I don't know what the big deal is, Talons probably only going to get better with these changes. The Tiamat change does fuck all except irritate your waveclear because we only bought it for the active anyway, but now it's cheaper, so it may in fact be BETTER. Yomuus buffs are huge as its core on Talon. Also remember in the new masteries we will get more %Arm.Pen than now. LW is probably the only real hard nerf, but even that gets turned into a grievous wounds item.

You get 1% more armor pen, but LW does nothing to base armor
So every ADC now takes ~27% less damage from assassins now thanks to PD + More armor, not counting all the new items and Death's Dance of course

Not to mention Trinity force has more crit now so you should end up on the samish amount of crit if you build all 3 items.

MealReadytoEat1 votesI'm thinking ghostblade then crit is the way to go now. Tiamat is only 1300 gold now, so you can easily get that extra burst. Ghostblade>ER>IE>trinity. 40% CDR, 60% crit, quite a bit of AD. I'm tempted to get statikk shiv for 90% crit and more burst.
