A Question for bronze/silver players

Why is it that the players who feed so bad you have to ask if they're doing it on purpose - are always the ones that refuse to surrender as well?

  • you've already ruined the game for your team
  • winning is not possible unless you're a full late game team and the score (turrets, kills, gold) is relatively close
  • you aren't getting good experience anymore, so saying to play it out so you learn more is ridiculous

just let the game end and move on if you fed 10 or more kills in a game and your lane is now walking around steamrolling everyone else because of it, and then play some normals or...you know...a different game

I understand being new, I understand not being that great, but this game is not fast paced enough to say "oh i just couldn't stop feeding, i had no idea what to do" you literally just keep a distance between you and your opponent, farm, and wait for the late game so the rest of your team has a chance, the game isn't about your individual experience, it's about 5 people.

i do it to tilt my team to get them banned if anyone of them was being toxic at any point in time during the match

Actually the people who want them to learn (forcing them or getting them banned) so they don't shit on other people's MMR is why people don't surrender. Usually the feeders want to go feed another game.

i can see that, but i'm not even getting troll feeders, i'm just getting people that are actually insanely new, or their only purpose is to be existing in a game as long as possible

i get that league is a videogame, but it's ranked - i don't want to play with brand new players for 40+ minutes while they afk in lane, feed, and then i have to listen to my teammates flame them like crazy, and it just creates the most toxic environment ever

like how does this problem get solved? is the only option for me to just not play so i don't have to see it?

I mean the bigger problem isn't the voting. It's getting matched with these people who feed when you have a positive k/d/a overall.

Because this is Bronze/Silver, and people throw huge leads all the time. It's kind of depressing watching your incredibly fed vayne try to 1v5 and then just not having a carry for the next minute and a half while the enemy team kills you all and then pushes down your nexus.

My experiences are the converse. The ones who drag ass all game and refuse to take anything into consideration just try to surrender and threaten petty shit when it doesn't fly.

I was in a game once where everyone wanted to surrender. It was like C'mon you two idiots we've lost!!!
To make a long story short the enemy was on our nexus and the two of us still refused to surrender. Well the other team decides to style into our fountain and let the minions win while they're spamming chat taunting us. .Well I came out and just barely got the minions, I started down mid, the rest of the team joined and we won that game. So don't tell me to surrender. That game would not have been won if we had of surrendered.

If you surrender, you will lose 100% of the time. If you do not, you will likely lose less. At worst it will also be 100% of the time. Surrendering is therefore bad strategy. By the way it's usually the feeders that spam the surrender votes. How are they going to learn a thing if all they do is surrender?
