Why cant Riot turn AFK players into Bots?

It has become a huge waste of time to play 15min quit due to a afk player. (20min when one of your teammates hasn't looked at the map to notice someone went afk) I dont care about the stats. I HAVE AFK PLAYERS ONE IN FOUR OF MY GAMES. Some of the games are winable as 2 lanes will be winning and 1 will just rage quit. Just let a bot take over that player. If its a disconnection issue let the bot reset to base and the real player takes over. All the time spent on garbage balancing that nobody at lower elo cares about this is the reason that always comes up over and over and makes me want to quit.

Bots would be pretty easily exploitable, especially the higher up you go, and it would be pretty lame to DC and then come back to realize a bot had spent your gold on an item that didn't make sense or fed kills to an extremely snowbally enemy. Even with better AI than the bots have currently it would be near impossible to match the bot to the skill of the game being played, so either the bot gets farmed by the enemy team all game or pops off and destroys everyone with pretty much no in between.

wait so instead of no one in lane to challenge me as I run it down unopposed, you want there to be a bot that offers me free gold as I continue to run it down my lane? So now instead of just the regular turret and minion gold that I would get, now also get an average of 250 gold extra every 45 seconds.

Even giving the rest of the players on a team a 10% increase to their stats would be more balanced than adding a bot (even if it could be abusable and people would flame eachother to quit so they can carry harder)

Do actually do that in HoTS. I'd rather have the afk if I have do make a decision based on what I experienced there.

if riot did this while simultaneously punishing any account that invoked it, the number of frustrated games i'd have would drop by like 90%. The only place id prolly rather an afk than a bot is ranked i mean losing elo to a feeding AI is pretty feelsbadman

Please just quit this shit stain excuse for a game. I occasionally pop on to see what's poppin, but id rather just play games like pubg, fallout 4, etc. You'd honestly be doing your self a favor as I dont see League climbing out of this 100 foot deep hole they dug themselevs

Honestly, what good does having a bot on the team do for anyone? I've played games where I've run into bots, as people were botting accounts and that did not make the match any better than having an AFK. I'd rather have the AFK cause at least they can't just mindlessly run down a lane and feed the enemy more gold.
