How many have you lost to DCs? Statistics

How many games do you think you have lost to DCs, deliberate leaves, and other server issues. I was watching Pawnce on PBE. He and his team were romping this team then his Lu Lu supp DCs. They lost 4 on 5 in the end. But it went from being an easy win to a lost. Lu Lu was doing her part before she left so she took some power with her. I was thinking that this might have added to the culture of "anything is possible" never quit. Because the DC fairy can always come in at anytime and hand you an undeserved win. But now it happens enough for it to be an actual force\element of the game. Treat as a monster that kills you permanently. It would be an interesting stat. They could factor games you were ahead or even on, then lost after a drop. They say it evens out like trolling. That seems like it just means there are a lot of undeserved games passing back and forth.

I guess "deserves got nuthin' to do with it."

Probably like 5, but I never report. I was playing a game with my brother and his entire PC crashed. And we also had our nunu afk. So it was 3v5 and we almost won the game because I was 19/5/something as karthus, but we lost team-fights and had no way to split-push.

Probably 10-15% of games had a DC/Leaver, and about the same amount of times enemy had DC/leaver.

I believe it does even out. Yeah you might lose a game because someone DC'd on your team. But some days from now, you might win a game because someone DC'd on the enemy team. It happened to me in back to back games in my series, which is a big part of why I don't care about DC's anymore.

More info on that series:

I was in a promotional series from Bronze D. 1 to Silver D. 5; I lost the first game, won games two and three, and I ended up losing game four because someone on my team DC'd. It was our mid laner, and I honestly believe we could have won if he didn't DC. We just kept getting beat in teamfights, which were real close for a 4v5. Then in the fifth game, the enemy top laner DC'd and it was one of the easiest ranked games I've played. And I got promoted!

I could have easily been mad after game four, but whatever. And it ended up working out. I just had to play an extra game.

what a system.

No system is going to be perfect and if you start loss forgivens then the same issue before will happen where it got abused to hell and queue times shot up. Sinc ethere's no way of knowing what happened on the other end aka power failure, unpluging router/ethernet cord/alf-f4 etc.
