They can safely attack from range to apply the burn and they usually have the most attack speed on the team to get the most out of the on hit damage. If you are a jungler who isn't Tryndamere or Master Yi, red buff is probably better on the ADC.

Jarvan EQs in i fllow him and he immediately flashes out leaving me to die just to die aswell. Double buff and double kill to ori. Game over. Every single game it's either bot or jungle completely feeding and being useless. Especially jungle is full of apes i have no idea what's going on. I guess it's riots early season jungle which allowed every bonobo to rank up two tiers by spamming jungle.

SanKakU1 votesBack before the plants update, I played a lot of tanks in the jungle and I would just tell my allies the same thing all the time...don't kill the Gromps. A large monster every once in a while is fine, but the Gromps are mine. And of course, you should never kill a large monster in the immediate vicinity of your smite ally IMHO unless it's late game and they don't need gold anymore.
When I have fallen behind and our jungle ally has been slacking on clearing camps, what I usually do is ping a camp and ask them to kill the large monster while I take the small ones. If they don't come, then it's better to finish off the large monster at that point. Of course if I have like a Runaan's and my jungle ally is ganking way too much I just yolo it and devour his jungle.

Plus, the red buff is only really given to the ADCs because they can apply it the best with their range/Attack speed. If you aren't positioned well though, you're just giving it to the enemy.

Limrick2 votesUntil around 2-3 items Red Buff is better on a bruiser than a marksman. The health regen and slow is huge earlier for champs like Renekton or Darius. Obviously if you have an 8-0 Twitch, you should probably give him red, but other than that the marksman should let someone else have it.

Aimléss2 votesIt is better on the ADC man, they can land more consistent autos since they're ranged, and usually have faster attack speed/aoe damage. Unless you're Yii or something, even if they are behind it is still better to give it to them because they can still apply the effect more frequently.
Ark Sorcerer1 votesMay I be honest? This is the first time I have heard of this. Seasons past, mages and some assassins got blue buff because they are in the mid lane and be it on blue side or red side, they can get easy access, as well as they got the bonus of AP and mana regen.
I am just confuse when marksmen getting red buff became a thing.

I thought this was the early game with the second or third spawn of the red buff.

If you are referring after that point, say mid or late game, fine. Understandable. Then again, everyone goes in my jungle and do whatever, but it was late game so I never complained.
