Maybe you should clarlify that Morde's W can be used on his ghost as well.

The "dual lane only mentality" would still be there as the clarity of wording like you suggest does nothing. W is able to be cast on allied champs. Not one Mord player has complained or even suggested (as far as I am aware, please link me to some that have been saying that) that we can not place it onto our ghosts. It was the fact that we can not throw it on our minion waves to get out of ganks, get to lane quicker, push it or anything of the sort.

That was the issue. What your title says has never been of concern.
