He does so much damage, he has a really powerful global AoE, good crowd control and he can kill towers really, really quickly. And yet he still feels to me like he's the worst champion in the game.

Is that just 'cuz I'm bad, or are all yordles sort of like that? Maybe it's because of how easy it is for him to die to a Flash. Maybe it has a lot to do with Thunderlord's being the go-to keystone on an all-skillshot champion and there not really being any other good alternatives. Or maybe Ziggs doesn't really deserve a good keystone; heck, maybe we ALL just suck at him.

I have no idea.

Global Ult? Good CC? Thunderlords bad on him? What kind of Ziggs are you playing?

Take DFT on Ziggs. It's better than t-lords by a long shot. Ziggs was my go-to champ for my last-minute grind. So much pressure.

I've actually been trying out Stormraider's Surge on Ziggs for funsies. To try to make it more useful I take Ignite, use scaling armor seals and rush Seraph's. It's been neat so far; I can get away from anything I want while Ignite is up and I can still roam and build mostly damage. By lategame I make sure to have at least one mobility or kiting item as well.

I've always liked Ziggs a lot; I've just never seen a fun popular build yet so I'm seeing how this goes. I've played a couple games with it in normals - I didn't have a good K/D but the build put in a lot of work for the team and we pretty much stomped both games. Ayyyy.

I take barrier a lot; don't know how many divers have died due to it. I really like item 1056 -> -> item 3165 -> item 3020 -> item 3285 -> item 3116 but I might try out tear. I like the cdr on morello's though.
