I'm thinking about banning out my own team mates now. Should I?

Why? Because every game I lost today has been shit like Cho'Gath anything and two Lee Sin tops. In ranked. On my team. Then I get to lose all these games no matter what I do because THEY ALL FED. I'm so sick of it. If I'm the only one that's going to use foresight on my team, I'm halfway thinking on using it to better my own team comps simply because no one else will. If that means banning out some piece of shit playing Teemo adc (had that too, lost again), I'm nearly willing to. Only issue is that I don't want to get trolled over banning out something that'll OBVIOUSLY make me lose anyway.

So what the hell do I do? Do I start banning my own team out now? Instead of using my bans on things I don't want to fight against, should I now start using my bans on things I don't want to see on my own team? I'm seriously sick of losing because of other people doing shit like this. No support main is going to win a game with a 3/13 Lee or a whatever the fuck my Cho was. I think it was like 2/16 or some shit like that.

And how do you know what champion someone will feed on? Could be Fiora, could be Maokai, could be Volibear!

Banning a champ that someone hovers is a sure fire way to make them pissed at you though, and a pretty sure way to lose the game as well.

Do it.

Do it. Banning out troll picks greatly improves your team's odds of winning, I know this first-hand.

Just last night, I had a support attempt to pick Sona, so I banned her. As a result, I got a Lucian support instead. We ended up crushing bot lane and earned a very 1-sided victory. Always ban your teammates' troll picks, it forces them to play the game properly or continue trolling. A sort of "Win or same result" type of scenario, there is no real downside.

don't please lol.

sorry to say but this USUALLY won't help your chances of winning. if you ban your teammate's pick, chances are they're going to get tilted, and potentially int feed/troll/do bad. i personally wouldn't do any of these myself, but i would tilt for sure.

also just a tip don't ask boards for advice as most are low elo and inexperienced.

I mean, if you banned my champion that I hovered in champion select I would report you, because thats not cool to ruin the game for someone else. You banning my champion isn't gonna motivate me to play better, its just gonna make me pissed off

Banning your teammate's pick usually isnt the way to go. If I were you, I would consider going for duo queues instead of solo.

I don't know what you are talking about...Chogath is amazing and I usually destroy with him. Just because you had 1 person who is only playing him because he had changes and did poorly with him doesn't mean that Cho is a terrible champion. He is actually my "safe" champion that I pick into a lot of people same with Poppy Renekton. Though I play Cho as a full tank top lane, so I can't really say much about how well Mid AP Cho is doing right now.
