and not touch his power to safely farm i am going to go insane. He can't have power and wave clear

I don't get it tbh.

Any good zed will go super hard in laning phase to abuse his only good phase of the game, if you're up against a zed that is safely farming and not abusing his early game power then you will eventually just counter him with items and he won't have enough damage on just abilities and autos to get kills since he won't be ahead.

He doesn't have much utility, so I'm not sure why damage and farming is so terrible.

Because it makes laning against him miserable no matter what character you pick? Even if you pick characters that do well against him in lane, he'll just powerfarm waves and keep you under your tower the entire laning phase. In that regard, he's also energy-based so depriving him of 'energy' isn't possible.

If you're a character that doesn't counter him immediately, he'll just all in you at six. It's a lose/lose situation. He becomes farmed or he's farming you.

Maybe I'm used to having competent junglers and don't take on the depressing, pessimistic view that I'm going to lose because the other player picked Champ X.

Perhaps that's why I don't complain about laning against Zed, Leblanc, Yasuo, Riven or the FotM while everyone else is whining about them.

Because I don't play expecting to lose, and because I test my opponent's skill as I'm laning, I get a much better feel for the game and how to do better than my opponent. Because I rely on my team when I alone won't be able to handle a situation, I don't feel like I'm going to drag them down by feeding someone else.

As of right now I don't mind Zed, BUT....I'm sure once the new AD assassin item comes out, he will get nerfed because he would be to strong with it (or the item itself will be nerfed, either is fine with me honestly..)

Though I do understand why people hate and want him nerfed. If you are a mage that uses Mana, it's very annoying to fight Zed since you will be constantly pushed under tower and you'll eventually run out of mana and be forced to recall, while he goes and roams and gets fed and snowballs the game. I think one of the most annoying things about fighting Zed is the fact that....you feel really weird about rushing Athenes since the Chalice isn't going to help you against him, and Morello isn't always enough mana regen for some champions.

you dont know riot, they rarely undo the immediate changes they make. they wont be nerfing zed again for a long long time.

That's true but they "some times" fix/change some champions if they feel that a new item/mastery will be to broken on them...though it was weird that they didn't catch it with Yasuo and Bloodlust, but they did catch it with Bloodlust/Essence Reaver on Ashe, they changed her so it's not an auto crit anymore so she wouldn't be to abusive with it.

The fact that Zed is probably going to be the most abusive assassin for the new item (the item is some what like a mini Zed ultimate...in a way) means they might just nerf him before the item gets released. Zed is already in a great spot right now already and very popular to, and this item will make him way to strong. Though I could see them not touching Zed, and just nerfing the item but in the end, some of the weaker AD assassins that are not in great conditions (which is why they're making the new assassin item in the first place) would miss out.
