Lets Change Nasus Q

jusho1··2 votes·485 views

the infinite max level of his Q has always ben some sort of issue in game play. once he gets high stacks late game there is no counter play against him. its either beat him early or run from him late game. no tank should be able to one shot someone.

so why not take the devour approach and once he hits a pre determined amount of stacks the ability transforms into a new ability thats balanced and can have some sort of counter play

No, it hasn't

Yes, there is.

Nasus actually falls off late-game. He can still be kited to hell and back, and most marksmen can demolish him if they can cleanse or avoid being Withered.

I am 100% fine with players being punished for mistakes.

Nasus is easily kiteable and killable, he's one of the champs with the highest counterplay therefore

Nasus has very severe counterplay, as the other guy said, he can be kited, which means that infinite stacking is utterly useless if he can't catch someone to send em home to Jesus. Furthermore, his kit is generally devoid of dashes and heavy mobility that would make him a problem with infinite stacking, and he's easily stopped by roots, stuns, blinds, and silence. Nasus is quite balanced, believe it or not, and the fact that he's got so much counterplay, yet absolutely under no circumstances should ever be ignored for long periods of time, lends him to be a unique champion to play against.

nasus is not a tank.

As a Nasus main, he is easily countered. Typically, any moderate amount of coordination by a team with hard CC will shut him down. Nasus mostly hits his spike in the mid to mid-late game, not the late game. Teams have difficulty if they lack any coordination when fighting him and go in one or two at a time.

I don't even pay attention to my stack count after 500 but I start paying attention again around 800. Once I hit 800 stacks, it is a sign that the game has gone on too long! It is probably a close game and I didn't (along with my team) take enough objectives early to win the game. We are in the LATE game and that game has probably been going on for 50+ minutes.

After a certain point stacks don't matter too much. I do a lot of damage and can chunk people but the opposing team has probably figured out how to use their skills to limit me in fights. The games I lose the most often are the ones where I hit 900 to 1000k stacks. The next team fight probably determines the game and Nasus just stinks at teamfighting.

You can still beat him late game if you have an adc on your team.

Can't FP nasus

Nasus needs a buff so he can teamfight seems odd how the champ with the identiy of "late game monster" gets outscaled by so many

Nasus's Q gives him mid game power, not late game power. It allows him to do massive damage, sure, but once true late game champions hit their stride Nasus literally cannot touch them unless they make a mistake.

If they make a mistake they are going to die in about two hits, but if they don't make a mistake (and let's face it, it's pretty easy to kite Nasus successfully) Nasus loses most of what makes him strong.
