When you play Midlane Hybrid lethality/crit garen, it's hard to get under 14 kills

1shot an ad carry... and i dont me with a rotation, i mean with Q, You can 1shot most fighters, with E Ult is only good for its passive and for tanks 800+ movespeed when needed about 430 movespeed normally

so I bet you're curious right? Yeahhh

So we start off with standard garen runes lethality reds Lethality quints Crit damage yellows crit damage blues

Masteries? 12/18 with thunderlords, though stormraiders is nice too

so how do we build mr garen?

well of course we need more movespeed, and more lethality, so our first two items will be item 3142 item 3814

After that its time for our powerspike, get your item 3147 ASAP

at this point its time to start building your damage items, cause you're not even halfway there

rush a item 3508 , you need that sexy crit chance to unlock your crit runes, and the cdr is more valuable then your 5th item item 3031

Finally you need a little tankiness, something to really lower damage... so i suggest item 3087

Cause they can't damage you if they're dead

Don't forget to take your meta summoner spells summoner 7 summoner 6

these make you run faster

you need to always run faster

garen-teed plat in under an hour trust

Fail.

Your runes aren't full crit damage. And you don't have a death's dance to heal off of your foe's tears as you spin all over them. Phantom dancer works better cause you get to ignore unit collision and go fass. Essence reaver IE are awesome, but last item is a dilemma. Get over 40% cdr with black cleaver (makes you go fass) or get lord dominick's regard for that tasty tasty 15% bonus damage+pen.

Phantom dancer is a nice alternative, but i personally prefer the garen-teed oneshot on anyone who isn't dedicated to tank or off tank (Anything less tanky than darius is dead)

Now i know you used to need the death's dance, but now you don't, sort of like how triforce left the build when they took the crit off of it

black cleaver is worthless, fights don't last long enough to use it right, chances are that tank can't deal with your 70 lethality and massive crits

The catch is phantom dancer cures being kited, plus magic damage doesn't benefit from lethality

It's a fair point, but the magic damage scales with crit damage, which you have plenty of

You still have your Q, Heal, Ghostblade, and Ghost if the enemy is somehow faster than your base speed which honestly is unlikely considering it's ballpark 420 (Still working on tweaking the build, i think it's 417 in combat, really trying to get it to 420, important for build power you know)

That and phantom dancer makes you not get slowed while spinning through minions.
