Nerf veigar already wtf
Why is he still allowed to do so much damage ffs. His stacking is obviously unhealthy. Being able to fucking 1 shot people is not fucking ok.

Why did you let Viegar farm for a long time? Viegar is weak as hell unless he farms, same deal with Nasus, how to stop them? End a game early or camp their lane.
Leave them both to farm for a while or allow a game to last 40 minutes and you what do you expect?
his damage and maybe stun are the only things he provide to a game, and it takes a bit to get it going. What kind of compensation would you give him, seeing as he is barely finding success atm with a 50.68% win rate?
Remember Boards, just because a champion has an unhealthy part of his kit does not mean he's overall "op". Champion Health is not directly correlated to Champion Power

while this is true they could take steps to keep the unhealthy aspect more in line for longer games like they did to cho and thresh, nasus is ok as is because his stacks only effect 1 spell, which is a melee range spell, and doesnt make him more tanky, it helps him drain tank better but not be immune to kite and burst, you cant kite a viegar pressing R when hes at 1200+ ap with 2 actual ap items
if a game goes long enough viegar can change his items to spell pen, death cap, then tanky because he can get a good bit of ap from his passive, add in death cap and then a void staff and he can build tank and still be a huge threat with all of his abilities not just Q like nasus
they need to put a conditional delay in viegar scaling after so many stacks, either give them diminishing returns or only gives stacks on champions at a certain point

Viegar will NEVER 1 shot you with R if you are at full hp, don't even try that BS. He isn't Syndra. While it hurts a lot if he has a ton of AP, most of its damage is from the %missing health. Viegar wants you roughly around half hp to ult you.
But he can oneshot you with W if you're full HP, because of its insane AP ratio.
And if you get hit by it, you deserve to die.
Or maybe someone else on their team pressed a point click hard CC on you and you die with zero counterplay.
I wasn't aware that magic resist items or QSS or other CC-cleansing options magically got deleted yesterday.

Agreed but the only time he is hitting with it is if you are not paying attention or he stuns you AND uses it before the stun, since if he W you as you get stunned, they will escape most of the time.
solution after X stacks he should have deminishing returns on his stacking
excample after 400 ap from his passive he gains 1/2 the ap per stack
at 600 ap he gains 1/3
at 800 ap he gains 1/4
at 1000 ap he gains 1/5 and it doesnt diminish after that
i mean they made thresh stacks have diminishing returns so why not veigar?
or they could make him only gain stacks from his passive on champions after 500 ap from it, similar to cho stacks

Difference is Thresh is a support, he is useful regardless of what he himself does, he could AFK for 30 minutes and come into a game and still be useful.
Viegar is there for damage for the most part, his cage is his only CC which even if you get trapped in there, you can still avoid his damage.
Also what would you give him in return? He isn't OP so if you take something away you HAVE to give something in return. You want his Q to hurt way more without stacks? Or cage to stun longer? Since that is probably what would happen if his stacking passive was nerfed.

if thresh is afk for 30 min then comes into the game he dies EXTREMELY fast, sure he could land a hook, but so could viegar with his CC, both have strong CC, both have skill shot mechanics, and also note im not suggesting thart the diminishing returns at the same level threshes does, thresh will see DR very quickly, while im suggesting viegar sees DR at 500 ap, thats still 500 ap from his passive before he even starts to feel the DR, it tones down him begin obnoxious in his scaling later game without hindering his early / mid/ 'early' late game
the problem is when he starts seeing 1000 ap + from his passive it just gets stupid with any of his spells able to basically delete people with 1-2 MR items, the suggestion i gave was to tone down his late late game by slowing his scaling when he gets to a certain point in stacks, thresh sees DR on his scaling quite quickly, it would make viegar much more fair late game if his scaling got slowed after he his a strong point
this wouldnt nerf his ability to get to the 500 ap mark, but it would make him have to do more AFTER that point, which honestly he should, because at that point he starts to enter the realm of his Q, W or R being able to chunk people with 1-2MR items for 60-80% of their hp with 1 spell, which is fine, but he also needs to slow down in his endless scaling at that point, keep in mind this inst considering AP he has from items to effect his scaling its only when he has 500 ap JUST from his passive scaling that he starts to see DR, so if he hits 500 ap from his passive he will be at around 1000+ ap from items, this suggestion just makes veigar going into a tank late game cause he has enough ap from his passive alone less likely
I've been in an hour game where viegar sold all ap items except death cap and void staff and went tanky after that, he still had 1200ap and was recking damage wise while being tanky, my suggestion would make that harder to achive without hindering viegar from becoming a real threat when he focuses on ap items
500 ap from his scaling before he sees a DR of some sort isnt as huge a nerf as you seem to think, its more so to just keep it from getting stupid and ending up fighting a tank viegar that has more ap than a full ap mage when they went 6 ap items vs his 2

If that is the case then it wouldn't really make a difference. Viegar getting to 1k ap is only because his passive gives like 200 at that point, remember he still is building all the big AP items which get you to 600-700 anyways. So if he had to get to 500 passive AP before it drops off it wouldn't change anything since he rarely gets there or needs to anyways.
If the drop off is earlier I can see it being more tame since I mean 1k ap hurts regardless if you are a tank or not, No amount of MR will not make a Viegar Q and Ring you not hurt. But the issue comes from what would you give him in turn? He isn't an OP pick or a popular pick so he would have to get that lost power from his passive put into one of his abilities. And I wouldn't want his Q hurting without AP right from the get go.
dont talk about how a champ is too strong you will get down voted to hell you have been warned
Watch I get downvoted for basically laughing at these people for saying Viegar is OP, and I am not even a Viegar player
Being able to fucking 1 shot people is not fucking ok.
HA

Even
can oneshot
Veigar is probably one of the few champions that can one-shot people and still be healthy for the game. Never been mad when i got one-shot by him, unlike some other champions.
His stun will f*ck up a teamfight and his ult might kill someone, but then he's a sitting duck, his range isn't great and has no mobility.
He's the kind of champion that you have to respect. Stay away from him, build MR if you can't outrange him. If he can't one-shot you, you just cut 90% of his strenght. He's similar to Annie, they don't work unless they can one-shot you.
In the words of Sun Tzu, "git gud and stop qqing."
i mean this was at 20 minutes but as the video title suggests....
http://plays.tv/video/58c75c7bf3498f45f5/i-guess-but-i-mean-i-was-fed
this is a prime example of why he needs to be nerfed smh his ult should be a skillshot at least and his stacks should have a cap so he doesnt have 1000 ap at 35 mins
Veigar is easy to beat. Just wait for the stun to be used and you have about 10 seconds to defeat his ass before he uses it again. He's easy to kill as he has no health. But if you run at veigar on cool down then prepare to be deleted. It's your fault.
