Mastery choices will actually be difficult next season

So if these masteries end up being accurate it's gonna add some really tough choices next season.

I think the fact that you can now go 18 in your main tree and choose either 12 in the secondary or 6 and 6 in both other trees is gonna be interesting if nothing else. I was thinking about mundo and 12/18/0 or 0/18/12 both look really good on him and legitimately change his power/strategy. Also mages going 12/0/18 vs 18/0/12 should be interesting.

Wow...a lot of those utility ones are very offense focused. Looks like jungling masteries have shifted towards utility.

A lot of the offense ones seem to be attack speed focused (Or maybe I noticed those more). Not great for champions that don't have most of their damage centered around attack speed, but interesting nonetheless.

I think the idea is to put mage stuff in the utility tree so there is more of a choice between going 12/0/18 and 18/0/12 on mages. I think for a lot of stuff like lulu and maybe ryze going 12/0/18 may be the better option.

Windspeaker's Blessing is going to be broken on Soraka.

Mortal Reminder Cost: 2500 (400)

+40 Attack Damage

UNIQUE Passive - Executioner: Physical damage inflicts Grievous Wounds on enemy champions for 5 seconds. UNIQUE Passive - Last Whisper: +40% Bonus Armor Penetration.

i dont think mundo will be playable at all.

That's probably going ro be nerfed to be more like nomicon. They've said they don't like the idea of one item invalidating an entire champion so I wouldn't be suprised if. The grievous wounds get gated by a health percentage before release.

God I hope so. It may not be though w/ the bonuses that have been given to healing and shields. It may just become mandatory build bc regen/healing becomes powerful enough. (Can you imagine mundo w/ he increased healing and visage, plus soraka or janna w/ the new mastery that increases resists and shield/heal strength, maybe throw in a mid lane lulu, and have mundo take the ability that he absorbs damage for another champ and just make sure that procs for the adc, 5k + HP mundo easy w/ heals and shields and the ADC can't take damage until mundo is at 15% HP......)

Hmmm. COD looking like the less frustrating option for my gaming obsession next year.

Yeah, I think it will depend on how quick people rush that, and how broken the new offense tree is for ADCs w/ the item rework. I think the ap item rework created some interesting power shifts that were actually really fun and buffs for a lot of champions, so if they do the same for adcs, and dear god plz no, if adc reworks come out anywhere near as strong as juggernauts did, then tanks won't matter unless they really buff them. It will be assassin stuff only bc you have to instant remove the ADC or they will be the only thing that matters.

If people don't rush it though mundo stands a chance, 6% bonus health, 50% bonus hp regen, 8% bonus on healing (so closer to 60% regen increase, plus 28% boost to ult once you have sv with the masteries) and either 200-300 bonus hp or % hp bonus dmg to his autos. If he's not just eaten alive by ADC then he'll be really strong I think, but he may be impossible to pick bc of hard counter items. Oh well, guess it will have to be shyv to jg w/ instead if I want that play style.

Now I need to come up with a new naming scheme for my mastery pages.

Great.

Warlord's Bloodlust: Critical strikes heal for 15% of the damage dealt and grant you 20% attack speed for 4 seconds (2 second cooldown).

Ashe Yasuo Tryndamere We welcome our new overlords.
