because if you can make garen jungle work then everything else just feels like cake. first malphite game after around 30 garen games and i go 23-5-6 getting half the total kills on the team as a full tank with a triforce.

MrSexyHobo1 votesyes you always have health at lvl 16 as garen when most champs already have some form of sustain from items. early game his passive is useless in lane and in the jungle. his passive is only useful in a handful of cases where you have a really really prolonged team fight and you get an extra 2k health to run in and try and clean up with. any champ with lifesteal can easily do the same thing garen can by just farming a jungle camp or minion wave

very few champs in this game actually have any sort of skill cap that requires more than a dozen games before you play them as well as you would play garen or ashe after the same number of games. i would actually argue that garens weaknesses and work arounds make him more challenging to play well than most champs aside from champs like zed, yasuo, and velkoz who really do take a great deal of mastery.
on the flip side there are champs that have very low skill caps like malzahar warwick and swain that have much more power yet are just as easy to use for no reason.

ZenithEevee1 votesHonestly, I feel tanking with Leona to be a great lesson, i mean, Garen and Annie work too, since they both get Free stats, but ya know, Leona just has the tank feel. i mean, get her AD up a little, Beef up her health and Defence, maybe add a Rylais, and boom, Fly like a fortress, sting like rubbing alcohol running down your mutilated chest.
