Magimodeller1 votesSadly, there's no more flat armor pen now. Maybe percentage penetration might be better? It's really just a matter of slapping a tuned down version of Last Whisper (item passive) and naming Void Staff's unique passive while doing the same thing.

It would cost more than normal for a penetration item but it saves on the costs for not having to buy Lord Dominik's and Void Staff on someone like Corki.

You have to remember who actually tends to be hybrid which is basically akali, Jax, shyvana and a couple others. They are not usually out to kill tanks which is what % penetration is good for.
Jax and Shyv are pretty decent at tank killing, with mixed damage and dps.

Well I've seen both Kata and FIzz build Gunblade.
Gunblade's the only hybrid item which doesn't give attack speed though. Although there's only a few hybrid items, so...
