Do you think that Assassins having CC in their kit is healthy for the game?

CC with counterplay I'm ok with.

CC that doesn't (such as formerly Kassadin, Leblanc, and Talon, whose silences were all click silences) is not ok.

The only exception off the top of my head is Fizz due to his kit just being overloaded with utility for how mobile he is.

Had to vote yes because I don't feel you give all the options. It depends on the type of CC, it's ease of application, how quickly it takes effect, it's overall strength. It would obviously be stupid for any assassin to have Fiddle's fear. On the other hand, LeBlanc's Slow/root, Ahri's Charm, Zed's Slow...are fine imo.

Edit: In fact...I would argue that currently there isn't a full assassin that has a problematic CC in there kit outside of possibly Diana (Whom is considered garbage by most and is rarely seen). Even then, I don't really mind Diana's strength in her dash+E+zhonya initiate...but it's the most powerful CC on an assassin's kit atm imo.

Depends entirely on how the CC us applied.

This is a discussion that I don't think can be entirely framed around crowd control. The issue with the silences that got removed on Kassadin , Leblanc and Talon 's kits is that they just served to remove options from their targets, and reduced counterplay instead of enabling those assassins. By contrast, on those same champions, their slows are short-lived enough to give their opponent a chance to escape, and serve more to enable further use of spells and autoattacks than to deny their opponent a proper response. LB's root, despite being a form of hard CC, carries a lot of counterplay, since it requires LB to put herself at risk.

By contrast, some assassin kits can be problematic irrespective of crowd control: Talon's kit, for example, gives him so much burst on such a short duration that he can go through it completely without allowing his opponent to react, even without his silence. Akali 's combination of high mobility, high burst and high sustain means that there's little you can do alone against her when she's ahead. The issue isn't so much whether it's okay for assassins to have CC, but whether their CC allows for their kit to have sufficient counterplay.

Soft CC only. It makes sense for something like a man with too many blades or an extra dimensional bug to slow your ass down via slicing your legs or something. You can still punch a guy in the face if he's in your face. If its hard CC, then it needs to be like Vi's or Warwick's ult, you both get knocked up/ suppressed.

It depends on the CC

Do I care that fizz's ult has a knockup/ slow? No(but I hate the champion)

Should ahri have her charm? No

Sounds like you have been charmed too many times. Stand behind a minion.

Healthier than ADCs having CC in their kit to be honest. Especially if it's only soft cc likes slows and silence.

It depends honestly.

Depends on how their burst is applied, how mobile they are etc.

But from the top of my head i can tell you that Leblanc's design is cancer. Giving a champion with that much mobility a slow+root?

Same with Fizz.

It just makes them impossible literally impossible to escape from.
